I filed his termination with the Ministry of Labour as 'termination with cause' to prevent him from doing so. Small victory I guess.

I fired an Estimator (construction industry) in January that was dodging meetings with clients by doing this (telling the client he may have had an exposure, but not telling his manager). Basically he would just go home, while we thought he was out meeting clients. Basically the clients got ghosted and we didn't even know. Missed out on several bid opportunities (about 1.5M in work) before we caught it.
