Yeah, I got a notice in the mail and ignored it. I was living in another county at the time so I had a good reason not to go, but if I responded to their notice explaining that then I was admitting that I had been notified which would have given them the power to drag my ass in on threat of arrest if they wanted to.

Much easier to put in the trash and pretend you've never received it, like I imagine 90% of people already do. But at this point in my life, I'd love to sit on a jury and nullify any unconstitutional laws.

You have the right to a jury of your peers. If there's someone with pink hair on the jury right now, it's the defense's fault for not dismissing them during the selection process.

They don't recognize natural immunity, something that gives more protection than their vaccine. Which means it's never been based on science or public health. Anyone who thinks they couldn't arbitrarily change the definition of "Fully Vaccinated" hasn't been paying attention the last two years. You'll be lucky if they only require boosters for covid-19 and not an entirely new shot for whatever hyped up disease that comes along next.

I remember teenage me listening to clips of these on Albino Blacksheep and falling for the pseudo-science explanation at the time (the subliminal mind showing itself). Then I learned skeptical thinking and realized it relies on accompanying text to influence your perception of the backward speech. The human brain is good at finding patterns in nonsense.

That Stairway to Heaven one still creeps me out though, and is so convincing that I think it popularized the phenomena.

Seems like the defense should have made an exhibit with .223, .40 and a handful of other common calibers.

People breathe into their masks, get them nice and moist, and then they constantly tug and pull on them because they're expected to wear them for eight hours a day at work.

It's just so much cross contamination, which is what Fauci said back in March 2020 before the social justice crowd pushed for masks despite the lack of science behind it.

People hate Kyle, but nobody likes this mentally unstable loser. And a straight white male is not valuable politically so I doubt anyone would push him forward as a hero or martyr.

I'd say his story is worth a few daytime TV interviews (paid of course) but then it ends.

I assume there's much more leeway in closing arguments when it comes to wild speculation and assumptions compared to witness examination or any other part of the trial, so this makes sense.

There's a reason the MSM removed the comment section from their online articles.

Look at all the stupid shit they've done by adding playoffs and getting political recently. NASCAR would switch to electric vehicles (powered by coal plants) and advertise their brave new Green Racing thinking it's going to attract eco-conscious zoomers.

With the elderly, the possible increase in protection against covid outweighs the unknown long term side effects. Perhaps not the short term ones, but there's room for debate and choice based on personal risk factors.

But these kids have 80 years or more ahead of them. Why risk their health at all when they aren't a vulnerable population to covid? This is clearly not about health or science but public hysteria and corporate greed.

Neutrality is good, kids should be allowed to be kids without worrying about adult stuff. But I'd suggest teaching them the founding of our country, the natural rights every individual is given at birth and should have protected by our highest law, and that power corrupts everyone so it needs to be very limited and controlled by checks and balances.

You know this kind of stuff won't be in the school curriculum.

Neither am I, the people voting yes on the damn bill have no idea what's in it so it will be weeks or months before the worst parts are revealed.

It could be entirely unrelated, and I think in most cases it's true. People drop dead every second around the world.

But if you apply the same standards of Covid Deaths (die while at any point having the virus in you) to vaccine deaths, then I suppose fair is fair.

More than that, people who see the media manipulation also know the repercussions for wrongthink. Jurors don't want a CNN van camped outside their house stalking their family. Nor do they want their cities destroyed with riots if they acquit a man already found guilty in the court of public opinion.

Somebody who wants to ban private gun ownership and never fires a gun, probably.

I'm guessing Alec's movie was low budget trash (being a B movie star) and they hired a guy who wasn't qualified to be an armorer as their armorer to save money. Show a real round for closeups, switch to blanks for actual firing, and then mix up rounds or forget one is chambered. No details are out yet so we'll have to wait and see.

Trump curse strikes again.

Yeah, I'm open to the UBI conversation considering how much money we already spend on welfare in this country. If we consolidated all the programs into a simple UBI system (less government offices needed), lowered incentives for multiple children and single parent homes, then I'd be fine watching poor people buying steaks and cigs with their UBI while I invested mine in my future. You can fund it in different ways, including tariffs on imports which also encourages native industry. And you wouldn't need Social Security, as it's a pyramid scheme in the process of breaking already.

Because if leftists don't want to work, let them live in their dream 20 square foot apartment of the future eating bug meat and living sustainably by gardening on their windowsill. I'll keep working, eat real meat, and live in a comfortable home with a few high priced luxuries. Win/win in my view.

Season 5 is when the show ran out of books, so they had to actually write most of the show themselves based on a plot overview by Martin instead of adapting the good writing that already existed for TV. Then I think they realized they dropped characters and plotlines from early on that became integral to the story... and stopped caring about the quality and just wanted to finish things up and move on.

I'm saving this clip because it perfectly illustrates the ivermectin misinformation, vaccine mandates, and the sorry state of journalism all in under six minutes. This is what can red pill people, or at least open the door to question authority.

Not that I've seen, but the JRE there is all long format content so you'd have to watch hours to get information. It's the random YouTube clips of relevant sections that have the greatest pull (especially by non-JRE listeners finding it) and Spotify isn't that kind of platform so the "need" to censor Joe is pretty low.

It seems like homeschooling with other like-minded parents is the best way that I've seen, kind of like how our great-grandparents did things before public schools existed.

The worst part is kids crying because they feel left out that they can't be vaccinated and virtue signal about it on social media like mom and dad. It's the same type of pressure that encourages kids to come out as trans despite not actually questioning their gender.

This whole thing is based on social engineering instead of science and logic. I'd like to say I can't believe it's working, but I remember how we threw our rights away after 9/11 based on emergency powers and we did nothing but complain a bit and accept the New Normal.

Exactly. Be sure to talk to your coworkers and make an informal union so everyone is on the same page.

Unions get a bad rap from states where they are mandated and suck wages off workers, slow down projects, and make things miserable. But collective bargaining is a natural part of capitalism that keeps workers from being exploited by employers. And the opposite of that is the ability for the business to say, "You're being unreasonable" and hire new staff. Keeps things healthy on both sides.
