Wife here, if that was my wife...I'd probably want to kill her. Husband and I are both playing RDR2 enjoying each other's company in our game room...and periodically checking on our sick chicken. Given, we've never paid for cable....and never going to start. We also don't have children, but I would not want mine watching an second of cable. And this makes me incredibly grateful that husband and I are on the same page in every way. Esp the stolen election, brainwashing on tv, and garbage televised sports. We've never liked sports, so it's a win win for us. People are finally realizing it's trash, so that's nice to not be the only ones anymore.
Anything else. Lol, but seriously. Went to eat a late lunch with my stepdad since his birthday was yesterday and mine is tomorrow....30 😩 ended up with a sick chicken, so hoping she's okay. Monitoring her closely inside. Probably gonna play a little rdr2...because we did house stuff yesterday and then made a fire, made smores, and watch john wick on our projector on the patio next to the fire.
THIS, you always engage with kids and ask them questions. They love that, and love "teaching" you things. People are dumb to think otherwise. I don't even like kids and know this is how you engage with them. I saw someone here mention a comment on the youtube video said something about Trump not knowing who Darth Vader is...they obv dont understand kids at all.
This, I'm not a huge fan of kids. But I know how to talk to them. Kids love when you get excited about things they say or show you. I'm great with kids, but kids aren't for us. I prefer Great Danes, they take up just about as much room as kids do. And cost close enough.

Ignore the "mandatory" signs, ignore the "required" signs...just fucking do it people. We've been doing it for months now. At first we were like anyone else who didn't want push back, especially when we didn't go a ton of places anyways before this. But after a little bit of time, you realize it's never gonna go away...so you have to stop doing it. So we stopped, and started leaving places who try to tell you otherwise. What's funny is it tends to be location specific, not brand specific stores. We'll go to one home depot, have someone say something. Another one, no one says a word. What's sad is we see less and less not wearing them. It's really disheartening. Then fiance went to eye Dr and they're fucking wearing TWO. Such a fucking joke. I'm so sick of it. Sick of seeing it. It disgusts me how I just see people put them on like fucking programmed robots with no brain of their own. How pathetic is the society around us to allow this to happen, and do NOTHING?
What games you into currently? Fiance plays a lot of Tarkov if you play that...but on PC because PC MASTER RACE lol

Glen Rose near Dallas/Ft Worth is nice. Our dog breeder lives there. It's very open, hilly, small town vibes. No crazy mask nazis. They also have a cool drive through safari thing and a dinosaur park. We live south of Houston and it's not scenic at all. Thinking about moving further north. Plus we're not big on beaches anyways. Rather have rivers and lakes.
Here in SE Texas (Southeast of Houston, near water) and it's been bad here too. We didn't have power for 18 hours. Almost ran out of firewood...fortunately we had a fireplace in our house...we never wanted one. But guess it is a must have for shit like this now. And we had a generator we put a freezer on and tried heater but that shit sucked compared to our fireplace. So we put a heat lamp on for our chicks. Yeah just happens that we have 6 chicks at around 3 weeks who were freezing in our garage. So we brought them in the house but it even got cold in here eventually. And our bigger chickens around 16 weeks old went from their coop into the garage pen as it was warmer in their for them. And we have 2 big Great Danes, so they did some cuddling while we slept in front of the fireplace. We have some folding twin mattresses for them (as dog beds are small and harder to clean) so we just used those.
