I agree with this, and the only argument that the Dems could still win is increased voter turnout - now, even if that is the case, it will be vastly outweighed by the huge amount of people who did not vote Trump in 2016 but will now (in my case it was Gary Johnson but this is mostly true for non voters and some Clinton voters)

The largest sizes of 12 gauge buckshot (00, 0 shot) are pricey and in short supply, especially in 2.75" length shells. 20 gauge is better. Bird shot is everywhere, and slugs are pretty easy to find too for both 12 and 20. I personally would try to hold off on a Maverick and get a 500 or, even better, 590, they'll last you absolutely forever, but 12 gauge pump shotguns in general are just about as hard to find as any firearm made right now
