Well I be damned, Sarasota pulls their head out of their ass and does something worthwhile. There are still homeless there but from what it looks like, theres not that many anymore.

One rumor I heard was they gave them a bus ticket out of town to basically anywhere as long as it was out of Sarasota. Most of them migrated to Bradenton, sadly, and now they are making a mess of things here. The area I live in used to have one or two that floated around, but now they've got a whole camp near a Taco Bell and another behind a Wawa gas station that was built in front of a former Sweetbay (aka Kash n' Karry).

Manatee and the city of Bradenton need to take the same approach, or we get over run with them.

I know there are efforts to re-process the fuel from reactors to make either new fuel or extract other fission by-products for other industrial purposes. But the scale to which thats being done at isnt very big and time consuming, along with expensive.

I could be wrong, but I remember hearing that there was some way Thorium reactors could possibly be used to "burn up" the waste left over from regular reactors. I havent heard much on it so how true it is, is up for debate.

I have a CZ Scorpion Evo and I love it. Set me back a bit in terms of price but was well worth the investment. I will definitely be picking up a CZ 75 variant of some sort in the not too distant future. They are beautiful weapons and I had the chance to fire one at the range, which is what sold me on them.

I also want to pick up the CZ 83 (I think thats the designation for the 9mm Makarov pistol). I have a very big soft spot for the little Ruskie round.

Surprisingly, not much. I have an old 6 core Xeon that I was gonna use for a server but thats probably gonna get scrapped soon. My soon to be replaced Ryzen 3700x 8 core will fill that role, and Ill be updating my current system to a 5000 series Ryzen and upgrading from my 980 Ti (half a titan basically) to a 6800 XT.

All I want the server for is file storage and minecraft duties. I could do more elaborate things like have my own email server but that can get to be a pain in ass. My forte was more on the networking side (Think Cisco CCNA type stuff), but I also game so I had to learn the "end user" side too.
