6 men and 2 industrial Vacuum trucks can remove 37 tons of sand in 3 days. Easily. I am an industrial sandblaster and we routinely clean up that much sand/grit in less time than that. It will take six weeks if the Government is involved and like you said, it will be destroyed when they are finished
