I work with a guy that shares his fathers name. His father used his sons name as a way to work without paying back the SS office for fraud. The father drove a Semi for years in his sons name and never paid taxes. One day, the son and I stopped for coffee and gas on the way to work. He came out of the gas station all fucked looking and showed me his atm receipt. It said he was negative 49,000 dollars. He could not get a checking account because his dad had fucked his life up so bad by using his name and SS number to drive truck for years. The banking account was in his GF's name. He would just sign his checks over to her or cash at a walmart or whatever and deposit them. I dont know how they knew, but they knew and took every penny he had and hers. He just recently got it all sorted out with the IRS and the SS dept, but it wasnt easy.
