They compliment each other. Think of it as the oil and gas for your body’s engine. Focus on cutting out foods that have extra shit in it. Try to stay away from the middle aisles in the grocery store and keep it simple; complex carbs, meat proteins, dark green veggies. Most importantly if you lift just make sure you do some mobility/stretching to avoid injury. There was a trainer I use on Daily Burn a ton called Greg Cook who has crazy mobility workouts.
