Don't be fooled by "ten day audits". Our only chance is showing mass power and surrounding Congress with a demand that fraudulent states are decertified. They have the legal authority to do this. And if they don't, Pence has the legal authority to do it.
Politicians are cowards and they only fear power. If they have the chance to delay and defuse the 1/6 mass protest, they will do it. Ignore Cruz's "ten day audit" bullshit. That's a loss. Don't trust them! They are all snakes and weasels who will do the right thing if it's convenient, but will do the wrong thing if they think they need to save their own skin.
There's only one person you can trust, and that is Trump. Assume everyone else will not show any courage unless they're forced to. And THE PEOPLE are that force on Jan 6th. In the end, it will likely come down to Pence fearing not doing the right thing. We need to give him the courage to follow through.
Cruz's statement: https://www.cruz.senate.gov/?p=press_release&id=5541
"Accordingly, we intend to vote on January 6 to reject the electors from disputed states as not ‘regularly given' and ‘lawfully certified' (the statutory requisite), unless and until that emergency 10-day audit is completed."
This commission will LIE and say, "there was fraud, but it didn't change the outcome". Note that Cruz doesn't even promise to dispute the electors -- only if they don't do the 10 day audit.
This is designed to defuse the January 6th protest. There will never be another chance. Cruz might be sincere, he might be fooled, he might be betraying us. I don't know. What I do know is that it's all or nothing on Jan 6th.
Don't fall for the trap of "just give us more time." We've had enough audits. We've had enough evidence. No more commission bullshit.
They're not even trying to hide that it's all about the election. We can't have good news and people feeling positive, can we?
I'd love to see Trump run with it and constantly beat the drum about "the great PAC12 starting football" and then watch left-coast Fascists cry about Trump taking credit and pushing a positive message.
