He must have a short memory. It wasn't long ago that Mitt Romney, John McCain and other soft republicans were called nazis, homophobic, and racist and worse. He shouldn't be mistaken, Democrats will try everything in their power to fight whichever Republican is in charge whoever it is. Mitch thinks Trump being Republican made Republicans get hate from Democrats. It is the other way around. Democrats hate Republicans and started hating Trump once he became one.
Who are they trying to garner votes from, Democrats? Seems like a losing strategy to me. It's so easy to get young people worked up, just say change the word protest to riot in the news and they eat it right up. I know Ben Shapiro is hated here but he is completely right that we have to not only win arguments with logic, but with moral superiority as well. It's difficult when defending or explaining yourself in any way gets you censored or de-platformed, but Republicans need to continue saying how THEY were the ones wronged here, nicely. They need to explain WHY these protests even happened, since in democrat cities no one has even seen anything on election fraud other than 'there is no evidence, we don't need to explain why we don't want to audit the vote count but trust us there is none'
I went though my parents yearbook, from roughly the 1960s. They literally were able to have high school clubs for different parties, debates, and there was even a basic ANTIFA group that got a full page in the book about bringing down capitalism. It's really funny how sensitive and adverse to conflict we are now. Like any possibility people get mad we just don't even allow it anymore.
Well explained, it's pretty much what we are all thinking on Trump. Most people who support Biden literally have never listened to anyone on the other side speak. If they can just take off their blinders for a second they would realize the 'racism, sexism, homophobic' bullshit is all a ruse to demonize the Republicans so they don't have to argue on ideas - no one will even hear out someone's idea if they think they are coming from a morally evil place. Not only that but it's not like you have to prefer one party in all aspects. For instance a lot of Republicans think abortion should be completely illegal, I disagree - I think only late term abortion should be illegal but I find the other issues more important and find it so extremely unlikely abortion will actually be made illegal from the point of conception.
