I tried one of those Chinese digital manometers on Amazon, it couldn't keep a steady reading. Sent it back in a heartbeat. Gladly paid almost 4x the cost for a legit Fieldpiece meter.

If only DeWalt could actually produce their table and mitre saws in the USA. Even though the models I bought are made in Taiwan, I was still disappointed.

I went out of my way to buy a pex crimp ring tool that was made in the USA. Lowe's had the Sharkbite brand (which is made in the USA), while HD carries the Apollo brand (made in China). I'll gladly pay more for the USA made product instead of having to buy the Chinese made one twice.

^this! If you ask them for just one mess that he made, they can't provide any tangible facts. It's always MSM regurgitation. These people that claim they are so smart can't even get the blinders off their own eyes. Pathetic.

^this. The exact reason North Carolina has slowly turned into what all the socialist / leftist NY'ers claim to have left behind.

ncsuengineer256 13 points ago +13 / -0

North Carolina too. Tons of socialists from NY are moving down to NC in droves.

Agreed! Norovirus is far worse than any cold or sinus infection, IMHO. All you want is for someone to put you out of your toilet-hugging misery.

Wow, the only thing that's working for me is gmail. This is too funny, because i just created a protonmail account yesterday.

I wonder if the mods could trace his activity back to an IP address or block of addresses and just blacklist him from TD completely.

Sorry, I mistyped. Cooper's smear campaign showed footage of Forest having large gatherings where people weren't wearing masks. So cooper was trying to play on people's fears. I hate tactics like that.

I think there is something fishy with the Dictator Cooper reelection too. I heard his slander campaign against Forest regarding masks did some damage, but like you said, he's pissed of tons of Democrat business owners etc. Everyone I know (including myself) voted for Forest.

I'm happy Mark Robinson won the Lt. Gov race.

I use DDG exclusively for my search engine now.

Trying to move away from the Google suite (gmail, calendar), but having a really tough time finding something comparable. Maybe other pedes can weigh on here.

Anyone else here an NC pede? Unfortunately Josh Stein and Dictator Cooper got reelected. I'm still mad about both of those races.

I'd love to see what the decompiled binaries look like. Then again, it can be hit or miss with them sometimes.

Definitely appears that the web server is getting hammered.

I'm a huge Trump supporter too and I agree with you.

This stuff is close to what I do for a living. Without packet captures showing what went over the wire, the packet source and destination, we can't tell squat about what's connected to what.

I agree with you. Unless you have a network topology diagram and know exactly what the route tables for the network are, LAN means nothing. You don't really know where the packets are destined.

And go figure the voting software runs on MSFT garbage OS. Should be a linux distro with SELinux enabled for OS level auditing.

I had the same issue, the stream froze completely at one point. My first thought was that YT yanked the video out from underneath me.

^this. As a software engineer myself, it's plain as day that they spend as little as possible on any research and development. The company appears to be a shell for moving money, not an actual software dev shop.

I like your use of the compound assignment operator! :D

ncsuengineer256 13 points ago +13 / -0

You're 100% correct. You don't even need the performance of writing the software directly in C or C++ to make this software. You could easily make this stuff in Java or C#. And the only data structure you need that directly translates to actual votes is an int! No floats needed, period! Should be the smallest program, easily done by freshman in a beginner's class on object oriented programming in Java.

Ha! Better watch out, everyone is looking for voting technology running on Windows XP
