This post shows where all of the major chains, and some medium sized chains, are on the political spectrum. The CEOs of many of the major chains are incredibly establishment and act together. I included mask mandates too since their policies show what side a company is on.
Airbnb
Airbnb is an incredibly leftist company. Besides boycotting all Republicans that are not nevertrumpers, they supported and donated to BLM. Airbnb's business model is also scummy due to many leasers driving up normal rent prices by renting multiple places solely for Airbnbs.
Choice Hotels (Clarion, EconoLodge, Comfort Inn, and more)
Their CEO donated 2 million to Biden/Harris.
Hilton
Hilton's CEO is a registered Democrat; they also followed Marriott by enacting a mask mandate at the same time. Hilton also supported BLM. Unlike Marriott, Hilton suspended all political donations after the "violent fascist tRump riots."
Holiday Inn
They are owned by HUGE conglomerate IHG, which is as establishment as it gets; look up their CEO. IHG also engaged with BLM.
Hyatt
Hyatt supported BLM after George Floyd's death. They also do diversity hiring. With COVID, they're strict on masks.
Marriott
Although Marriott was a traditionally conservative company, the Marriotts gave much of the leadership of the company to Arne Sorenson, who is a registered Democrat. Marriott, in June, supported Black Lives Matter. Marriott also introduced a mask mandate along with the other chains on July 20, 2020 and also continued to keep dining rooms closed even in states where they may open. Later on in 2021, Marriott stopped donating to any Republican that stood with Trump.
Motel 6
Motel 6 is one of the few companies to be partially in support of ICE, well until they were sued to stop.
OYO
The Indian chain OYO appears to be neutral, but OYO USA did voice support for BLM and instituted a mask mandate at the same time as the other hotel chains.
Radisson Hotels (Country Inn, etc)
While Radisson Hotels appears to be pretty neutral on the surface, besides following many other chains that all instituted a mask mandate at the same time and supported BLM, they are owned by Chinese state-owned company Jinjiang.
Staypineapple
Staypineapple did not appear to engage in anything political.
pɹɐpuɐʇs ǝɥʇ
The Standard, which was founded in LA, is incredibly leftist, from BLM to promoting Biden (without explicitly mentioning his name). Their branding is also incredibly leftist.
Trump
Yes
Wyndham (Super 8, La Quinta, Days Inn, etc)
Wyndham spoke in support of BLM without directly mentioning them. Wyndham's PAC exclusively donated to Democrats.
Wyndham also has a mask mandate.
Your local independent hotel/motel.
They're probably your best choice.
