I believe that this will be the new normal. There are local tradesmen here that park their work truck at home and are assigned work at job sites via the internet. Daily meetings are conducted using the internet via Zoom or Jitsi or other meeting software.
Governments will increase taxes to fill the requirements of their workforce. Actually, governments are the most inefficient part of our economy. IMO. Public education is a highly inefficient way to educate.
