What a timeline! If you told me I would need some popcorn for Nicki Minaj this week I would never believe it

I still live here but who knows for how long. In LA county they are saying only vaccinated can go into nightclubs and bars. You have to show your papers. We edge closer to leaving each day and taking our significant tax revenue with us. I literally only stay for the nice weather

Gotta give props when people you normally disagree with do something right. Not everyone is a monolith there's common ground you can find with a lot of people and it's important to work with them on those things. We can all fight being told what to do. We can all fight corruption. When we don't build those bridges and stay divided on common goals then the uniparty wins

You are doing the right thing. What they are trying to force upon people is immoral, unscientific, and unconstitutional. We must all be ready to take the stand when our number is called. If my company takes up the vaccine mandate I will leave without hesitation.

When I got the 'ro last year I was not taking any supplements. It was not great but I made it through and researched what I should be taking to strengthen my immune system. I picked up daily supplements of C, D and Zinc. Since then I haven't been sick once even though I've been around sick people. I used to get sick all the time. It's amazing how few of the people I know take any kind of supplements even though we all spend all day inside working and not getting sun.

Do they not realize how stupid they sound to normal people?

The massive lack of logic between these two statements is amazing. Some real mental gymnastics to avoid straightforward facts:

  • She looks pretty healthy very small chance she would have died or been hospitalized from covid
  • Vaccine side effects can kill too

Especially if you already got the coof and recovered from it. What possible gain could there be for getting the vaccine which has been proven to provide less protection than natural immunity?

Recovering from covid is the best vaccine you can take. It is way more rare to get reinfected after recovery than it is to get infected after taking a vaccine. Why they are trying to force recovered people to take the vaccine is a contradiction of science which they claim to be following.

I am not allowed to go into my daughter's day care because I haven't gotten the vaccine (even though I already had covid which has been shown to provide better protection than the vaccine). I was tempted to just get it so I could be like everyone else but then I realized that peer pressure is never a good enough reason to do anything. Until some sort of super strain of the coof shows up that can reinfect you I am just going to wait this thing out

I also read that of those 330 cases, all of them involved patients with severe co-morbidities

2
never_forget_seth 2 points ago +2 / -0

Not to mention that virus resistance from infection is stronger than vaccine so it's in our interest to make sure healthy people catch the rona then recover. Cleveland Clinic just released a study of their employees and found that 99.3% of infections were attributed to unvaccinated people who were not previously infected, 0.7% of infections were attributed to vaccinated people who were no previously infected, and ZERO PERCENT was attributed to unvaccinated people who were previously infected. Translation: Your body's long term resistance is better than any current vaccine

I live in LA and I always vote for the gas tax increases because I work from home and I just want everyone else to be bitter at the government haha! Also if gas is really expensive the freeways won't be as crowded for the few times I'm actually on it.

How delusional are these people... I got COVID and it knocked me out for a few weeks but I was back on my feet. It's not a death sentence, it's not the end of the world for you. Unless you have co-morbidities you're gonna be fine and if you're not fine go to a hospital and you'll be fine.

To be fair the image on the left is Manhattan Beach and it still looks pretty much like that. Homeless are not allowed to congregate in the southern beach cities. They all get sent up to Venice!

people are making these videos of them seeing friends for the first time in a year and I'm like... I never stopped seeing anyone? Except for the 2 weeks that I had the coof but then I was all good

I am so hopeful they find the truth and it's what we expect. There needs to be a thorough examination nationwide and just one state revealing enough discrepancy to turn over the election results would start a domino effect

Y'all are mad someone taking advantage of gullible Democrats to enrich themselves? I say good for her!

1
never_forget_seth 1 point ago +1 / -0

I actually want them to end the filibuster because right now they blame Republicans for all of the problems but let's just see them try to implement some of their terrible ideas and how bad it will go. It would be a gift to Republicans. Then they can say "see we told you so". Yes I know there will be some short term suffering but then when Rs are in power we can implement a much better agenda with no obstruction and when it works the Dems will really look like idiots. You have to break something down sometimes to build it up stronger.

Conservatives got to stick together and lift each other up. The fart left has done a great job of embedding themselves into critical parts of society and forcing their will upon you that way. But it only works when we allow it

GWB was the reason why I didn't want to be a Republican when I started paying attention to politics. He orchestrated these long occupations of Afghanistan and Iraq. Imagine how many lives could have been saved and how much less our debt would be (or even spend that money on building America's infrastructure). So if his team is leaving it means the party is on the right track at least in my opinion

Stay strong pedes. Just because he's leaving office doesn't mean the message doesn't have to live on. We got a lot of work to do til 2022
