There were blue haired freaks all over the capitol yelling in senators faces, breaking out in epileptic fits during the process followed by them banging on the doors of the supreme court yet no one got shot. Schumer yelled out threats to roberts on a megaphone to the effect that they would face extreme consequences if they confirmed kavenaugh. Media made no concern over the safety of the senators. The media finally had success with a false narrative and our good buddies, the gop, jumped on it when they believed it had traction. Nothing violent occured to a single member or security... but the Trump supporters were the ultimate threat.
