Amen. I wonder how much of the "NSA is the good guys" is a disinformation campaign being run by the NSA. I mean it makes too much sense. It is so easy to replicate the belief. You insert hearsay into forums and social media over and over and then watch as people just begin to regurgitate it for you because they heard it and they saw others agreeing with it. Just because it appears one general did care and would not go along with spying on the president elect, does not mean the whole agency feels the same way. You can look at it like Shawn Hannity and his dumb ass repeating 99% of the rank and file are good guys. I might believe the opposite. And when Repubs controlled both houses they would not recess so that Trump could not make recess appointments. He is the only president in history to not have made a single recess appointment. Trump can not get anyone that would actually do something, the senate will not approve them. That is the trick. They do not put in an AG that will actually go after the club. Anyone that gets that position while the senate is completely compromised is on their team, not Trump's. That is why no one in power ever pays for a damn thing and Clinton can smash all the subpoenaed phones she wants and Weissman can attempt to overthrow the POTUS because there are a shit ton of repubs who want Trump gone as well. You do not understand how research works. If it was in his department, he had complete knowledge of what the results were. He may not have performed the work himself, but he was in the know and would have made critiques of the study and what would make it more powerful. I did research and that is how departments work. Everyone meets and gives updates on their data and all the other phd's, md's, etc ask questions and offer critiques.

It is weird, but all growing up I would have said the Repubs, which is supposedly the conservative party, spent a big portion of their time trying to ban things including music and video games. They also spent a ton of time on locking up people for doing drugs they did not approve, granted the dems did this too, but the repubs were definitely seen as the anti-drug party. That is not very "mind your own business". Running a "Just Say No" campaign while at the same time helping import tons and tons of cocaine into the country to support the contras. It is just weird to me how dems used to be all about not censoring anything, but once they got power they wanted to ban the most sacred thing of all - your thoughts and ideas.
