Here's the thing: we know Floyd WAS whacked out on drugs, because that's what the cops got called for. They weren't called over the fake twenty, they were called because Floyd was drugged out of his mind.

I like to put it as "two assholes being assholes ran into each other in the midst of being assholes".

Anything that relies on models has a 100% chance that it is pure bullshit.

nothegreatrefuser 2 points ago +2 / -0

Listen--I build MUCH simpler models for a living. Not only can one wrong variable render the whole thing nonsense, it's really not difficult to manipulate the variables to get the answers you want. In short: anything that relies on "tHe MoDeL sAyS" is utter bullshit.

Think of the simple fix--anyone arrested at a "protest" from out of state (or even just from out of the area) gets labeled a terrorist (thereby hiking up the bail at minimum). You leave anyone local with a rioting charge--unless they're arrested twice. Then they're a terrorist too.

She’s called the police so much for bullshit they don’t take her seriously.

What everyone forgets--or didn't notice--is that the Democrat party was absolutely decimated under Obama at the state level. They lost governor races and state legislature races hand over fist. This means there are almost no up and comers in the Democrat party. This means that there literally is NO ONE ELSE. Why do you think losers like Beto O'Rourke and Stacy Abrams have stayed relevant?

Just imagine being in court and finding out that she was your judge. I'd plead the fuck out right there.

As someone who builds models as part of land development, I can tell you right now that all models are bullshit. Anyone who starts a sentence with "the model says" is bullshitting you. If we do not possess the capacity to accurately model water lines, we don't possess the capacity to accurately model a pandemic or the extremely complex atmosphere. It's all bullshit.

I never understood the free pass Obama got in general, starting with the 2008 election.

Don't forget that Biden had to drop his 1988 Presidential campaign because he was caught stealing speeches from a Welsh politician.

I'm totally in the camp that all of Moonface's song and dance routine is more about his relationship with Kellyanne than about Trump.

He's acting like a failure who has now been surpassed by his spouse. I'm sure Kellyanne is the major earner in the relationship at this point, and that he was a very different person when they got married. Moonface has likely allowed all of his bitterness and lack of fulfillment to twist him into a caricature of a man and is now passive aggressively lashing out at the person he blames for his failure--Kellyanne.

After reading this comment, I wondered if Kellyanne's the one coming up with these insults.

Here's another great example.

The amount that uninvolved people complain is astounding. I watched an entire county shut down development because one asshole complained that the base boards in his newly bought, cheaply built, mass produced home was too far off the floor.

The worst is when unelected bureaucrats decide they don't want to permit your project. At least most places I deal with have controls to keep you out of permit purgatory.

Typically housing costs are too high because the government can't get out of the way of more housing being built. This man wants to increase everyone's cost of living by putting more government in the way.

I deal extensively with permitting bureaucracy. The levels of ignorance and stupidity would astound you, and the levels of self-importance and petty power moves would infuriate you.

Fun fact: speeding is safer than going the speed limit on highways.

Don't forget Biden had a failed presidential campaign a couple of decades ago--he was forced to drop out after it was discovered that he'd stolen a speech from a Welsh politician.

Don't be so hard on yourself. I grew up in a conservative and skeptical household. It likely gave me a boost in realizing this stuff.

If anyone on the campaign refuses to hammer this home because of Stormy, they need to be fired. Stormy has no credibility, her lawyer's in jail, and there's a high chance that the media et al don't want to rehash that nonsense.

There's also a pretty big gulf between Stormy and Tara Reade as women.

These absolute CUNTS.

Setting aside the miserable behavior during the Kavanaugh confirmation, let's think back to all of the hysteria about "grab 'em by the pussy". Weeks of wailing like banshees because Trump was talking about hypothetical women and consensual behavior with another man in a private conversation that was "accidentally" recorded. How many hours--and I do mean hours--were wasted debating and dissecting and decrying Trump's crudely stated but ultimately innocuous comment?

And now they can't give Tara Reade story--a story which appears to be truthful--the time of fucking day? Now they write headlines like this? What the actual fuck. What the actual FUCK. They're going to jibber and blubber on for days about grab 'em by the pussy (with no evidence that Trump ever grabbed a woman by the pussy without her consent) and then give Biden a pass about an actual sexual assault?

What the FUCK.

I could go on for HOURS about this bullshit.

Jacksonville beaches aren't even that nice and it's missing a lot of the critical infrastructure for tourism. It's an industrial city, based around the port and the naval base.
