you're free to do as you will. "but in all your getting, get wisdom. though it cost all you have, get understanding." i know you'll enjoy all the research it's thrilling and deep. and hey i find things on here that really lift my spirit and remind me of Godly truths. it's a wonderful throng to be in. if i could recommend what really helped me get a grip on the Bible, it would be Dr. Adrian Rogers and his love worth finding ministry. like a decade ago i had an ipod just loaded with his sermons and would listen while jogging. today i'm all over the place in a good way as studies go. i've got a sharper view of the big picture :) anyway. catch ya around
another Biblical trope i see... when Kim Clement referred to the man he envisioned as 'this country's king david' and all of this started going down, it brought to my mind the whole thing with absalom... his own son drove him out of the kingdom in a hostile power grab... then the Lord slew absalom and brought david back.
'when the righteous bear rule the people rejoice. when the wicked bear rule the people lament'
that's why we all feel tortured by this shit... our abusers have pulled in the driveway again. but don't feel anxious. don't be afraid or dispirited or overtaken by emotion. holy, holy, holy, is the Lord, God, Almighty... those words echoe in my psyche every time i feel demoralized. the word holy means devoted.
don't confuse America with foreign and other sinful meddlers. the Lord is not deceived, and neither are those who follow Him. the blessing and the curse is predicated on what WE do.
"if My people who are called by My name humble themselves, turn from their wicked ways, pray and seek My face, then I will hear from heaven, I will forgive their sins and I will heal their land."
i'm tired of all the brainiacs completely missing the point of how evil operates.
