Actually, Hoover Dam is mostly in Nevada - just one side in Arizona. Black Canyon is entirely in Nevada.
There seem to be a great deal of people her who are conflating Arizona and Nevada.
They are different things.
Arizona is "The Copper State". Nevada is "The Silver State".
Arizona is where the Grand Canyon is. Nevada is where the Hoover Dam is.
Arizona is home to the large Zuni, Hopi, and Navajo nations. Nevada is home to the many Washoe people.
Arizona has Phoenix which is also the capital. Nevada has Las Vegas, but Carson City, near Reno and Lake Tahoe, is the capital.
Arizona is home to Fort Huachuca and The Buffalo Soldiers. Nevada is home to Nellis, Area 51, and Creech (if you want to watch Predator and Reaper drones in flight, go to Indian Springs and up on the mountain).
Nevada is corrupted by the mob. Arizona is corrupted by John McCain and now Cindy McCain.
