Exactly. Younger people see Harley as weird and cultish, and pretty much everything OP described is them attempting to sterilize their brand image and distance themselves from all the stereotypes associated with Harley. Superficially it looks like your typical woke corporate political correctness, but I think in this case it's motivated purely by money since their older customer base is dying out and they now need to sell their bikes to millennials and Gen Z in order to stay alive.
If the people making these decisions at Harley happened to be running a company associated with liberal culture and for some reason they needed to change and appeal to a conservative demographic in order to stay in business, they would do it in a heartbeat. They're probably liberal so it's a fortunate coincidence for them that for the sake of business they have to erase boomer Harley culture, but ultimately they're just being sellouts.
I'm not one for whining about the Constitution when something doesn't go our way, but the ability of the legislature to override a veto by the President feels like a real abuse of the executive branch's power.
I'm sure the purpose is to prevent a tyrannical leader from completely obstructing the will of the people, but in this day and age when our "representatives" on both sides of the aisle are crooked elites not merely ignoring the will of their constituents but actively using their plight (CAUSED by abusive local governments) as leverage in order to enrich both themselves and anti-American interest groups at the continued expense of the very citizens they were tasked to represent... that old notion of if becoming necessary to "dissolve the political bonds" comes to mind.
I heard the clip of him speaking in Georgia, I'm not sure how else to interpret this:
"Do not be fooled twice. This is Georgia, we ain't dumb. We're not going to go vote on January 5th on another machine made by China. You're not going to fool Georgians again. Why would you go back and vote in another rigged election? For God's sake, fix it. You got to fix it before we'll do it again."
I love that he is fighting for Trump, but I think this is a dangerous tactic - very high risk for a reward that might be achieved by other means.
That's great if he's become a republican, I'm just very concerned about his advice to boycott the runoff election in an attempt to gain leverage in the presidential election. That's a bad, unnecessary bluff in my opinion.
Think what you want about Lin Wood, but listen to Trump and VOTE TO KEEP THE SENATE RED, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. We can vote to maintain power in the senate while also not conceding an inch on the presidential election. Trump is supporting Perdue and Loeffler, what more reason do you need to support them?

Ha, this reminds me of one of Bill Burr's bits.
