We have the best fags, don't we?
I make more money than my husband. I work full time, he works 20-25 hours a week on average. We both pitch in to pay the bills, proportional to what we earn and therefore, I provide more than he does. I don't particularly care so long as he keeps my house spotless, the grass trimmed and the driveway shoveled in winter. I have no problem doing all the laundry, ironing and cooking, so long as he has his fare share of chores as well.
My point is that this works for us. It might not work for you, and that's OK. Whatever works best is what matters. I don't hate or resent the fact he earns less and spends more time at home; I actually quite enjoy the fact he's the one cleaning the house.
We've been trying to have children for 3 years now; we've been together almost 19 years (we're highschool sweethearts) and I know damn well that when I'll be expecting, he'll step up and work a lot more because he will want to keep me at home then. At that point, I will be more than happy to keep the house clean, cut the grass and shovel!
God bless you and your family fellow pede!
