West had a good episode on Tim's podcast recently.
I know, I know, it's beanie boy, but he has some good guests occasionally.
Copy pasting this vaccine card here with some notes from a based pede the other day.
Notes:
8.5” x 11” Cardstock Paper, 80lb, 216gsm (or similar - do not go heavier than this - - a touch lighter is probably OK). Say "Accent Opaque White Cardstock Paper, 80lb Cover, 216 gsm, 8.5 x 11 card stock" ($15 for 250 pages)
Put some pages of 80 pound card stock in the top drawer of one of the large office printers/copy machines. No need to use the bypass – it will feed fine from the regular top tray. Probably also works with a home type laser printer.
On print, choose “Pages to Print” (choose “all”), “Print on both sides of paper” (choose “Flip on short edge if appropriate for your printer”). If you choose the default “Flip on long edge”, the reverse side will face the opposite way. Do a test with cheap paper first.
Use a ruler and a razor blade (or other). If using a razor blade, put a bunch of throwaway paper/old drafts of docs underneath to not mess up your cutting surface. Cut the card a SLIGHT touch wide – use the ruler as a guide and put the edge a bit past the guide lines.
Self-identity as vaccinated and fill out card accordingly.
Optional: take a used but still wet bag of black tea and rub it on both sides for a few seconds. Then weigh card down for a bit with a paper towel and a book. Makes paper a bit darker and less pristine.
After dry, stick in wallet. If you loose it, no big deal (you can get more as long as you still self-identify as vaccinated).
Mike Lindell told them to do that.
I used to hate messing with garlic because of the annoying as hell paper on em, but now they sell whole garlic that has already been peeled, game changer!
