Same docket number, 155

Is this one of those situations where only part of the Texas suit is rejected?

I'm not a lawyer, but this doesn't look good.

This may just be a commentary on National Review running a story like this. This was a statement by the entire Editorial Staff.

If Texas hasn't seceded by then, that'll be the last straw.

Doesn’t Kentucky have a Dem Governor? I doubt the governor would be okay with his AG signing onto the suit. In fact, maybe the Governor is pushing to support the other side and Cameron is saying no.

Any argument saying SCOTUS should not take up this case is just absurd. Look at how many States are now involved.

It's still not the PA reply. Read the BOLDED text on the first page.

This isn't PAs response. This is a filing of CARTER PHILLIPS, STUART GERSON, JOHN DANFORTH, CHRISTINE TODD WHITMAN, LOWELL WEICKER, ET AL., AS AMICI CURIAE IN SUPPORT OF DEFENDANTS.

An amicus curiae (literally, "friend of the court"; plural: amici curiae) is someone who is not a party to a case who assists a court by offering information, expertise, or insight that has a bearing on the issues in the case.

When the Supreme Court rules that the state ran an illegal election those legislators will have political cover to change their tunes.

That was my thought as well, but I just saw this argument on a website that should not be named and was curious what we thought about it here.

Since the winner must have a Majority of total Electors appointed, 270 of 538. I just want to make sure that if 62 EV aren't appointed that the denominator still is 538 and doesn't turn into 538 - 62 = 476.

Have you read anything about this theory?

I'd like to have a genuine discussion on this as I don't hear any pundits talking about it.

Additionally, I believe it would be safe to assume these states would not run the elections the same way again which means dems couldn’t cheat again.

“A” Holocaust museum, not “The” Holocaust museum. This is bad obviously, but I was worried this was the DC one.

Why are activists even in the room?

I said there are certain lines which may be crossed where there can be no compromise. If something like that happens, I’d like to be prepared with solutions that do not involve war.

The fact of the matter is that if the extreme left continue to push these radical agendas, with the media as their trained fighting dogs, things are not going to get better.

We will dig our heels in fighting for an America they want to destroy. Eventually to destroy that America they will have to destroy us. I just want a plan that can avoid that.

Edit: I will rescind my prediction if I see a change in the mainstream media. There is no sign of that on the horizon.

I believe that there are at least three things which would kick off a secession movement in a Biden administration.

  1. New Firearm Regulations involving complete bans on weapons or ammunition
  2. DC/Puerto Rico statehood
  3. Court Packing

I'm sure there are plenty more, maybe involving immigration, but those three specifically would be catalysts.

Moreover, the more I think about the direction of our nation, the more I'm concerned. There are tens of millions of Americans who genuinely want Socialism, a New World Order, and the end of traditional America. These people think its okay to murder the unborn and then sterilize children later. They believe the law should only be used as a bludgeon to intimidate and manipulate the population instead of the blind arbiter which we all respect and protect.

These people are evil. They don't want to live with us, why are we fighting so hard to live with them. What is the point?

All that being said, no one wants war, they're counting on that. We need to start thinking of avenues of separation outside of war.

Could we split by:

  1. State
  2. Counties
  3. Regions (Pacific Coast, Gulf Coast, New England, etc.)
  4. Cities vs. Suburbs and Rural

How to Split Federal Resources? This includes Military Assets.

How do we handle business across nations?

Mutual Defense Pact between nations?

Property Swap for individuals who don't want to live in their area?

There are so many questions, but maybe if smart enough people get involved we could think through many/most of the logistical issues so that war may not be necessary.

Obviously it was consensual. If a 7 year old can make life altering sexual decisions then why couldn’t a 12 year old do the same?
