I will address some of your points based on my experience and some will be opinion / history teaches.
First, in any war the priority targets are always leadership (this is experience), cut the head, the body dies mentality because it is true. Leadership will be the first target and we know where they are, the left knows this, that is why they have multiple walls/fences around the capital, but the rest of America is functioning as normal. The leadership does not stop at the capital, but extends to people of influence or you risk the issue recurring. This dynamic means there will not be as much bloodshed among the people, but there will be among the security forces guarding targets before they fall or flee.
The military is something to watch closely (this is what history teaches), before any civil war, or balkanization of a country, the military is split, it is a crucial step, we are seeing that now. From experience, I as a soldier would not fire on US civilians in the capacity of a soldier regardless, I will kill someone threatening my family in a second; I hope the difference is clear. I am sure many think like me. This is why the biden administration is cleaning house getting rid of patriots and based soldiers.
No one can predict what will happen (this is opinion), wars/conflicts are not something you put on a calendar, they are organic, take time and events to evolve. I think we are on the path for sure, when is anyone's guess.
Along with splitting the military, the people have to feel enough pain to want to fight, right now it is not the case (this is history/opinion). even with the fake pandemic, most of America is living 99% normal lives; family time, cooking, eating, going shopping, etc.. Even those who lost jobs have compensation for the most part. In other words, it's not that bad yet. yet...
With that said, there is certainly a level of pain right now; politics, race, plandemic, etc.. are straining the country, an 'event' (history teaches) could trigger conflict; election fraud proven - AZ Audit, assassination, gross overstep by the govt (full on seizing of weapons), etc..
Civil wars and I use that term loosely in this context are complicated because the enemy is brother and sister. It is much simpler with a foreign invader; locate and destroy. If complete breakdown happens now, there will be fracturing along several lines; political, religious, racial, sexual orientation even..
Right now there is little to no leadership. Conflict would result in chaos along the aforementioned fracturing. With leadership, the violence can be organized and directed where needed to remove the problem and restore the country.
