Well, thank you for the compliment to my family, extended even. This country, its founding documents and republic, even the people to some degree (although there are some that test this resolve) deserve service, loyalty, and sacrifice -- but the ones who are in charge of it and their supporters don't seem to value any that, nor even this country.
Maybe that will change, and hopefully soon. But, until that day arrives...we're out (and doing what everybody else seems to be doing: getting ours). This is a very disillusioning process -- some people need to have ideals; I hope some of mine don't go too bad for not having any to strive for...sheepdogs need those certain sorts of jobs after all...
Thanks for the compliment, however: My husband is out, and so are our cousins. My kids have been in for some time now -- the one with the least time in is nearing the four year mark; the other is nearing the 13 yr. mark. The same goes for our cousins' children; they all have served 4- 20 yrs. in and thus have paid enough dues. So, they serve out their enlistments, which will soon be coming up, and that's it. Our youngest (all of us) have not reached the age to enlist, and I am hoping that some ur-catastrophe changes the course of things, but at this point we've done our time and there is nothing left but being hounded out or being punished for actually believing in that oath.
Enough is enough.
And this is why, after all these generations of loyal service, my fam are getting out: that oath to the Constitution and the Republic will now be considered "extremism".
Which really kinda sucks for us -- it's kinda been our "thing" :/
This right here. Take the upvote.
- and all the while they push learned helplessness, endless depression, and degeneracy on our kids -- look at the entertainment "stars" who are popular and what their message is; it's operant conditioning; we're literally the cattle to those bastards who rule/want to rule us all
No, they know what they're about -- those POC police are not the PC POC....the ones that they want.
Ones you're talking about are multiracial white supremacists and need to be on the other end of the gun (along with their families) -- according to the left and their useful idiots.
That's because anti-Catholicism is the latest approved bigotry in America -- remember when the left was screeching about how Catholics shouldn't be allowed to serve as public servants? And now some on the right are doing the same thing?
It was never just the Church; it was always every place else....people just wanted to believe the one and not the other.
This is a good point; we're all guilty of rush to judgement -- myself most of all.
Everybody was all up to defend Gaetz and say he's being railroaded...should remember to give everybody else the same treatment.
Cops....you're losing your cred all over here. Maybe (just maybe) it's time to come clean and do right, huh?
Probably the reason for the alcove.
The plot and character development arc have certainly been slow paced, but there have been some surprising twists to keep it intriguing; can't wait for the climax.
My dad was a Marine scout/sniper, and I got to a lot about Hayha a lot...I even think he had a prayer alcove to the guy in his workshop in the basement.
That's fucking sick.
I don't think it's right to harbor ill will towards any group of people over the actions of some. I think the solution to that is to remember to do onto others as we would have done onto ourselves -- I certainly don't want or like the fact that there are people out there who hate me simply due to belonging to a group they don't like, something I had no control over (I didn't choose who I was born to); I try to remember that when dealing with others....and highly recommend others give it a try.
"Roast pork"???? Wasn't she and her husband making a big deal about how they celebrate that there Festival of Lights back in December???
*maybe that's alluding to roasting some other white meat....
Well, you know, when you're staying up for three days...leads to plenty of time on your hands.
Yep; that was some fucked up bullshit...and I think they shot the dog there too.
WTF?!? When keeping it woke goes too far.
Yeah, funny how that worked out here -- seemed to increase crime, by a lot!
So...about those folks from the 1/6 protest that are in jail...Rashida, care to comment?
PS. does this mean we can take your shit? As a congressperson you probably have some nice stuff that most of us don't have....redistributive justice and all that.
Baby, I'm an old woman who reads books and goes camping. I've heard of Oceans 11; never saw, and probably never will see it because it just doesn't intrigue me. I'm happily out of the loop of pop culture (although I do kinda like Tom MacDonald; my kids were playing some, so I checked it out; like what I heard -- "Church" is something I can understand and he's got some catchy hooks/lyrics, but I digress).
Don't expect me to know memes about a pop culture I have never taken the time to truly follow in the first place, ok? But we're cool.
PS. thanks for the enlightenment
Hmmm, whose been the loudest?
How many of these advisor orgs has anyone ever heard of?
When they were little, yeah, my kids always liked getting a bunch of little presents (more to open). When they got older they liked getting one or two things that they really wanted/needed (new clothes have always been a hit around here -- comes from getting hand-me-downs except on Christmas/birthdays/Easter).
It wasn't the female cop that was trying to cuff Wright (and that, male, cop fucked up too...and the other male cop could have directed him to exhibit more proper procedure and didn't, so he kinda fucked up as well). And of course Duante could have just done the smart thing and "well, ya got me", but he fucked up.
Good show! A+ even! (and no, the Frankfurt School was just one wave of many; it has been going on since at least the 20th century, slightly before...enemies both foreign and domestic)
In many ways we should be impressed that, considering the all out attack on everything that makes America great and how long it has been going on, that this country and our people have not only stood up to it for so long but even pushed back and did great things in spite of it (many great things, bigly great if you will).
And they still have not managed it -- not yet, not yet...there is pushback from many. Rather remarkable...we are a very remarkable people from a very remarkable country.
