I've seen the video -- cops fucked up from the beginning; she really fucked up and has no business being a cop...but ultimately the biggest fuck up of the evening came from the last performance of one Duante Wright, who should have just let them take him in.

Like everyone else, Tucker Carlson is 1) an imperfect human being; 2) on the lookout for his own interests, which includes getting his pay. So, sometimes he hits the nail on the head, and sometimes he fails miserably. He's not a prophet; he's not a savior; hell, he's not even a statesman -- he's a reporter/media personality.
People should keep that in mind, take everything said from that standpoint.

Yeah, we have huge problems with opiates and meth...have had them for the past 20 odd years, along with a stagnant economy. But to be honest, it is a situation involving "stupid wipipo" -- that's why the local joke is that we live in the corn ghetto -- same as the city ghetto, just with corn and white folks with no jobs, no families, sometimes no homes...but plenty of EBT, booze, and drugs....and cars/trucks with fancy rims. It's the truth; I'm not going to lie about it; is what it is. We don't have too many problems with deteriorating public safety because...hillbillies...we're not afraid to protect ourselves; we aren't into taking any shit, especially from pos ;)
How small is your town? We had one protest last summer -- and it was peaceful, I won't lie (see above about white people with no jobs, drugs, etc. half of them are mean as cottonmouths; plus the hillbillies might get pissed off too if you go throwing bricks, hurt one of their kids or dogs) -- and then whatever plans they were rumored to have made never went off. That was it. We'll see what happens this year.
The town I live in now if far larger than the one I grew up on the outskirts of (well, more in the country, but close enough to town to ride my bike there as a kid).
Yeah, that was a tough time (really was hard on my husband; I remember him busting his ass doing all kinds of odd jobs while he was looking for employment), but we got through it -- and my kids got Christmas...thanks to the Dollar Tree! (ps. they used to have a nice selection of little books on history, the presidents, and things like that for kids...$1, can't beat that).
It's cool; levity is wonderful.

Ironically, I'm a teacher (or was before the center I worked at closed, right before the coof, and now I'll likely never teach again because...I'm not on the proper social media with the proper hashtags loitering and littering it's nonexistant ass up).
But hey, at least there are a few kids out there (namely my own) who did learn that lesson. They also used to go pick up junk people left out on the curb for pick up; anything in town with an electrical cord made it to our house (scrap used to pay well). My kids learned the hustle! (except when they started giving lunch/snack money loans...with interest...I had to put my foot down on that one; don't be doing that).

My kids did that too! Had quite the little hustle going on. Buy a box of chocolate chip granolas, then sell them as singles, the chip variety pack (the Dollar Tree candy)...at enough of a mark-up to not turn the customers off or encourage competition.
