Yes, indeed. The only preppers I've ever found crazy were the ones who claimed they were going to prep to survive a nuclear apocalypse -- pretty sure I don't want to be a survivor of that because the chances of survival after the "surviving" are going to be kinda shitty. However, other than that...
American weather can be very extreme and potentially affect the majority of the country (as we are seeing). It's always a good idea to prepare for what you think won't happen because chances are it may very well.
There is this thing called "emergency preparedness"....it isn't as though there aren't states in this country that have to prepare for winter storms as a matter of fact, every year. Could not the states that don't normally get such weather perhaps discuss "what's to be done in the case of"? It isn't like the storm snuck up and pounced...takes a few days to get there...could have learned how to deal with this years ago. (and for fair measure: when the odd really bad heat/drought wave or fire hazard pops up in states that don't have them, well, could they not learn from states...?). Is it really that freaking hard to have back up??? Or, are they just...oh never mind, I've answered myself.
My mule and I say, "haha!"
There's this thing called camo paint...
Scary...Hunter's the most normal looking of the bunch (bet those new chompers cost a pretty penny). And no, that isn't saying much, but low bars happen.
Photo filters and plastic surgery are helluva drugs.
Imagine that, solar power doesn't really work in a place that often has cloud cover/at a latitude where the sun rays aren't constant throughout the year!
Humans haven't been depending upon the sun to meet all of their basic human needs since the early stone age (at the latest)...yet, here we are.
Now that I'm older, I'd willingly trade that knowledge for the innocence of youth...alas, even that isn't allowed today.
gotcha! Old school is often best school.
Idiot woketivist finds out that hey, people did/do/will do shitty things regardless of skin color (they also do nice things regardless of skin color) -- sometimes we're related to them; in fact, nobody can claim one's family tree is completely pure of shitty people. Can't wrap his head around the true equality of it all. News not to be reported at 11.
With a couple of hiccups and vodka burps.
Tying gun control into the stimulus money bill in 3,2,1...
They should be calling for the impeachment(s) of every Dem and Rino (ah, and there's the rub) who condoned and promoted violence over last summer (at the very least).
You get an impeachment, and you, and you! Peach mints for everyone!!!!
After all, that is the new rule for this game...as given to us by the Dems and Rinos.
In fairness, the medieval period was also well known for using water power and human/animal power...and for burning a lot of wood and charcoal.
Ergo, more sophisticated than these green energy dipshits...I'm pretty sure the long dead inhabitants of Ugarit are laughing from beyond the grave....Cro-magnons sit in askance from the astral plane.
And stimulus money that a lot of people haven't gotten yet...lies made, lies kept (the pros/cons of stimulus money is another topic, but if you're going to promise people cash, then you'd better deliver....they tend to get pissy if you don't deliver).
And it clearly isn't worth anything. You don't need a doctorate to teach at a community college Jilly; everybody knows that. So...why are you only a CC instructor if you've got a doctorate??? Is it because you can't compete with other doctorate holders? Are you still working? When was the last time you were behind a lectern?
Not only the car manufacturers but the alcohol manufacturers -- they made the stuff that caused the driver to be drunk in the first place!!!!
Can we eliminate immunity to vaccine and mask manufacturers then? It stands to reason that we should be able to do so if this goes through.
Considering who the car, booze, and health care equipment manufacturers usually give political donations to, perhaps that should be the retort.
Depending on how much snow you've got, yes, a push broom works well. A regular shovel works on larger amounts of snow too...maybe everyone should make sure they have a shovel? Or know somebody who does, who will share? (I'm old enough to remember when having a shovel was pretty common...but, admittedly, I'm old)
Accepting competition on a somewhat level playing field (let's not get carried away with the idea that the ideal ever exists) is a good thing as it drives innovation and expands the market; helping a competitor...not so much.
Word choice is still important whether we like to think so or not.
Harvey Milk was a buddy and promoter of Jim Jones.
Where's the impeachement?
Sigh, nobody wants to nibble, ok then:
Mitt Romney is highly connected to both the Lincoln Project and John Weaver (and Mitt has had some rather interesting connections to people who have gotten into trouble with being mean to kiddies before): One Robert Litchfield, who was his finance co-chair, ran the WWASP facilities...got into some trouble for child abuse. And Aspen Education Group (owned by Bain Capital). Mitt of course knew nothing about this.
And, if we play six degrees of separation, Sasse is connected to the White House page scandal -- involving the sexual soliciting of underage male pages (well, really, the molestation of said boys by Foley and Kolbe). Sasse was the proctor and tutor of those pages at the time of that scandal...yet he never reported anything. Don't know about any clear connections to LP, but...certainly sounds like a group Sasse would know about the members of from past...acquaintence.
I think paranoia might be holding the upper hand ;)
But a certain highly placed former GOP power broker has admitted to knowing about the pedo...and not saying anything (why would you not report a crime of such a nature? this wasn't just swiping a hundred bucks from your room mate or stealing auntie's credit card).
Just remember: Mitt Romney is very connected to the Lincoln Project...wouldn't want any nosies poking around in that, no telling where it might lead.
I wonder if Sasse has any connections?
Let's not (hold our breaths) -- hypoxia is real and can be hazardous.
