Amazon took 14 years to start make a profit. It didn't start in someone's garage and slowly grew. It was build with a lot of money. It was created to destroy competitors, not to create a better service.
Uber and Uber eats are the same. Operated on loss for years, fed with a financial umbilical cord connected to billionaires.
Once they have the monopoly they can do what they were intended to do: A global social credit score system. Amazon can cancel books, products and websites. Uber can block people from using their transportation or order food.
