Democrats seem to thank that their revenue stream is unlimited. Shortfalls in revenue (taxes) are made up by additional and loans, hence the national debt.
Both on a State and Federal level, they impose all sorts of Taxes: Income Tax, Social Security Tax, Medicare Tax, Property Tax, Sales Tax, Gas Tax, Tolls, Cigarette Tax, Alcohol Tax, Luxury Tax, some states even impose a View Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Dividend Tax, Estate Tax, Gift Tax and I am sure I am have missed some and don't know of others.
It becomes difficult to measure the tax rate given all of the above. Government constantly promises to tax the rich more but then create loopholes so that the wealthy do not actually pay their "fair share".
When Ross Perot ran against Bill Clinton and George Bush, he told us that despite the fact that he earned far more than the average American, because of loopholes, his tax rate was 5%. In order to get the wealthy to "pay their share" we need a flat tax and to close all loopholes. There is a reason all these financial institutions are paying Democrats $500,000 per speech. It is a pay-to-play scheme.
Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen made a lot of money -- $7.2 million, precisely -- over the last two years by making speeches at events held by banks and other financial institutions. It is a matter of buying influence. Strange how the establishment (but mostly Democrats) are so very well compensated for speeches.

I have one question for Biden--you must have known that despite being told to stop this gain of function research, in 2014, NIH continued funding this research. Why on earth would Biden not fire Fauci--instead he got a promotion (reward for the chaos he created leading up to the elections??)
Speaking for myself, the first time I became aware that there were real problems with integrity and transparency was when Snowden came out (after only 3 months as a contractor) with how devious our government was--it was astounding what he understood in such a short space of time.

The Benghazi Scandal showed that government would tell outright lies to blame America and let terrorists hide.
The Clinton server scandal showed the lack of process and integrity in government. The President of the United States was logging onto the Clinton server in the basement of her house with a pseudonym.
For anyone that read the emails, Clinton was using the same email address for government business and Clinton Foundation business. Foreign leaders had no idea which capacity she was acting in (personal or Secretary of State). It was impossible to tell where one started and the other ended.
When Twitter suspended Trump's account, Michelle Obama called for them to permanently cancel his account.
So exactly what did she incited? It led to shut down of conservative voices on many platforms, called for and sanctioned by Michelle Obama.
If you leave it to the federal government, they will mandate more voter fraud. Look at what the Federal government has done to the Education system. Look at the waste that goes on within the Federal government.
To take your country back, you have to take your State back first. States also need to be cleaned up because they are the ones that gave up the sovereignty of the State to give their party more power.
What we need is a system where people can go to verify their vote that is independent of government. Since government can no longer be trusted, we need a checks and balances on government. They are no longer doing their job.
Best thing John Ratcliffe ever did was start giving intelligence reports to Congress in writing because when he gave them verbal reports, they just went out and lied about the intelligence they had received. The written reports created a paper trail that could be verified.
What a disgrace that America does not have a system in place that has consequences for lying politicians, even those that head up the Intelligence Committees can lie about the information they received. In any country with integrity, there would be consequences.
We need some sort of record of judges that are not ruling based on the laws on the books or the Constitution. We need a record of prosecutors and AGs that do not uphold the rule of law.
It is imperative that integrity be restored.

I believe that Obama stayed in Washington one mile away from the White House (had a skiff installed into his house, along with Valerie Jarret and her husband) for a reason. I assure you, Joe Biden did not assemble his cabinet, Obama did. I believe it would be treason (acting in bad faith) for Obama to remain in power via a surrogate. US law is very specific about the 2 year term for President.

Suggesting the Black Americans are handicapped because of the color of their skin is simply not true. Most successful ethic group of immigrants financially are Nigerians, which says success has nothing to do with skin color. The time has come to insist members of Congress get educated in order to understand the Constitution before being allowed to take office. It is far more important that they understand the Constitution rather than Critical Race Theory.
They should be made to study the constitution before they take office and represent the country. They to understand it in order to propose and make laws.
