The say the best for of defense is attack and it is certainly the MO for the Democrat party. If you look at what Chris Wallace did in both 2016 and 2020 interviews was attack Trump (framed as a question--will you would accept the outcome of the election) and msm media created much fodder from that one supposed question--it was an attack.
It is about the only thing that they do well, is attack. More important is that it puts Republicans constantly on defense. After every tragedy, they attack and immediately Republicans defend themselves and their positions.
If you look at the latest fiasco with the Officer that died, it turns out the original narrative that he was hit over the head with a fire extinguisher was totally false. USA Today headline on 2/2/2021 was "Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick lies in honor at the Capitol"--in this article, it says he died from injuries sustained by a pro-Trump mob. The truth that there were no injuries to his head only came out after they had milked the man's death for everything they could. It is disgusting.
This is where the parallel realities come from--it is the politicians lying to the press and the press carrying water for the politicians by not doing any investigatory journalism.
The most revealing thing that has happened in government that showed where the misinformation comes from is when John Ratcliffe started to give Congress written Intelligence Reports so that there was a paper trail. It stopped Schiff (God help us, now the Chair of the Intelligence Committee) running in front of the cameras and lying about what they had been told.
You will notice, no matter what Democrat politicians do, Nancy Pelosi does not remove them. As we have seen with Eric Swalwell, if anything, she doubles down. After it was revealed he had a relationship with a Chinese spy, he was included in the impeachment trial as one of the managers.
We have seen many Obama administration get promoted in the Biden administration for obstructing the Trump presidency and creating total falsehoods in some instances.
Given the fact that the Democrats flagrantly lied about the cause of death of Officer Sicknick and this information is being against Donald Trump in this impeachment trial, can Kamala Harris, who when paying her respects to the Officer laying in the capitol, repeated the lies?

Something needs to be done about a party (the Democrats and some establishment Republicans) that have turned the entire country upside with another false narrative.
Much of this false narrative has been to support and create optics for the Trump impeachment but it is all untenable. We cannot accept this as our new normal.
The fact that they have changed DC so dramatically to support their narrative without any public statement of what actually happened is unacceptable. Officer Sicknick is a very big part of this false narrative. The worst part is that he was cremated.

Hillary Clinton then called on her supporters to resist. Obama called for his supporters to "organize". When Trump helped "organize" he was told that was insurrection. Democrats organize all the time, but if Republicans organize a rally it is insurrection??

He did not die on January 6th. He went to work on January 7th and at some time late in the day, he died. The family found out that he had died when they got a call from the media, which was really odd.
