I don't understand how evil people can live such long lives without their bodies becoming riddled with disease with all the decades of lying, stealing, raping, killing and deceit.

You're welcome. I'm actually in a bad blue state right now. One of the worst. I'd like to move but my extended family is staying put so I have to ask myself which is more important... being with family or running for safety and so far have not left. Might have to go down with the ship but we're as prepared as we can be. We are in a rural area with a lot of cowboy culture so hopefully it will ride out the rough times. I also have wondered if the fake regime would enlist outside military / antifa types to target known red states / cities at some point. This wait and see period is eerie. I wish you the best!
It's amazing how much can be grown in very small acreage. We have 5 acres but we also raise occasional beef and have chickens running around in addition to a horse. Even just 1/2 acre can grow quite a lot. If I were up to it I'd get another milk cow or milk goats. I did that for years and during one rough period in our lives when we lost all our income due to medical emergency we lived off that cow's fresh milk. I have heard that people during the depression who had a cow survived well, too. But it's a ton of work. Milk goats are much easier. There are some breeds that have good tasting milk if you are like me and can't stand the goat flavor. Plus they are easy keepers compared to cows. When we had the cow and were getting 8 gallons per day, I made income by selling fresh milk under the radar. It's in high demand. That was in 2010.

Property in a red state with low property taxes. Enough to grow your own food, which doesn't take much, but rural with like-minded neighbors is good. Ever since Obama, I've been very gradually stocking up on small things I would consider barter worthy as well as being able to defend it from theft. The dollar will soon be worthless at this rate so precious metals have made some sense, although I wonder if they will declare it illegal to own at some point again. Sprouting seeds and jars for quality nutrition to go with the long term dry goods.
Yes, discipline is paramount. In my small rural community it only took a couple of hotheaded Trump supporters to give us all a bad name when a small group of hippy BLM (not the rioting type) came into town and did their little pots and pans-banging march. The two men couldn't contain their emotions and started ripping signs from the marcher's hands and generally trying to intimidate them with aggressive in your face behavior. They were arrested and charged with assault and it was all over the newspaper and our social media about the violent Trump supporters. Ruined it for the few hundred who showed up to peacefully stand with flags and banners along the sidewalks. Another bad thing is the police were all on our side at the beginning of the march, which happened without a permit, and the police were in the process of escorting the protestors off the streets and out of town. But when the two Trump supporters lost it, then the police had to arrest them and it all went south. It was like the Jan 6 event on a much smaller scale. So frustrating.
It's a great thought... but how to keep out those violent leftist bullies dressed like us.

Girlfriends lead to marriage and marriage leads to kids and political differences lead to strife and distancing. It's not uncommon for a person to hide who they really are till the ring is on the finger. Best to find someone already suitable that you don't have to change.
