Hey look they took Washington

Hi All,

Not sure this will gain a tremendous amount of traction here, but I wanted to start somewhere and a community such as this is powerful.

In 2022, there will be an opportunity for me to run for the House of Representatives to represent the state of Texas. My goal is to do so as an Independent, a member of no traditional party—instead, I want to be a member of the people’s party, the Patriot Party. This will present hurdles of epic proportions, of course. However, in my life, I don’t do one thing very well, and that’s lose.

As a current 25 year old, I realize that I may not possess the necessary legal background or Washington experience, but in my view that would be just the ticket to revitalize the American Patriot (and no, I would not be jumping from bartender —> House). If patriots all across the country saw a youth movement from within our coalition, I believe beyond a shadow of a doubt that the momentum would be shifted irreversibly in our favor.

I have many writings on what I believe the state and fate of our nation is, and I would love to share more specific thoughts if this is of any interest. I’ve had to write them under pen names to protect myself, my wife and my family, but the time has ended for being afraid of repercussions on beliefs that used to be main pillars of our national identity—as recently as 20 years ago.

I am not a philosopher, a poet, a legal wunderkind, or even a particularly good politician; in fact, I don’t want to stay in politics beyond 1-2 terms. What I pride myself most in is the furthering of the American Dream, and I work damn hard every day to preserve as much of it as I can.
