What the kid did in transporting and using the firearm may end up hurting all of our second amendment rights. In most states a minor can use a firearm for self defense in the home because they have restricted firearms rules outside the home away from supervision.
I love the second amendment and yes people are entitled to self defense. I legally carry everywhere I go. Stated twice it was clearly a case of self defense. Doesn't change the fact there are going to be issues come up about a minor transporting a gun and using it for self defense outside the home.

The whole mess is a ton of BS the tribe applied for statehood so they could get representation. They were the ones wanting to get rid of the reservation and turn it into a state. There was a complete lack of any understanding of Oklahoma History in this ruling.
Wow that's a bad map. The tribe has problems cause they have sold most of it. The ruling doesn't mean what it seems like. But it is a mess. Tribal members fall under tribal laws now even on the land they sold. There is going to have to be some arrangement made between the tribal government and the state government for law enforcement. The state may find itself screwed on property taxes. That could be the biggest fallout.
I'm sorry I can't argue against this ruling. The state has a court case the records are part of the evidence. Either you believe in the rule of law or you don't.
