I came out shortly after the election.
I live in Seattle. This has been the case since before Trump. I’ve been harassed and they’ve even harassed my family members that don’t even live here.
“Accountability” is what they’re calling it
There’s enough people there that if they really wanted that fence down it could be done in less than a minute. They don’t actually want the fence down.
Off-topic: so were the pictures where Chauvin had a confederate flag real? I haven’t seen them. Also, I’m not suggesting that a confederate flag is proof of racism...
It’s so absurd. The whole country has to pretend that this virus is scary. The only other option would be to accept that the media has been lying to you in order to support a certain political party.
The theocracy that Jesus intends will be ruled by Jesus himself. Everything else is as corruptible as any other form of human governance. The beauty of the American system was the recognition that human government is incapable and tends toward evil, thus we have a system that restrains the government’s power (or we used to anyway).
This latest trend where you have so many “Americans” crying for more and more government is insane.

In my state you have to wear them in public when you can’t “social distance” and anytime you enter a store. The mandate is so that Democrats don’t have to feel like scared sheep.

I’m seeing the same thing at a church that I started attending at the beginning of the year. Seems like it’s coming from the leadership but there are a lot of members who see this “movement” for what it is. Looks like I’m going to have to look for another church.
