The only other time I've lost my sense of smell without a stuffy nose is when I spent too much time with bleach fumes.

And that was the bizarre part. My nose wasn't stuffy. I had zero other symptoms for the first day. Just 24 hours without smell. The first wave hit me later and that's when I got hit with the flu symptoms.

I have no idea. It really does spread like the flu so I could've gotten it from anywhere.

His boss was really strict with the rules. As things went on everyone started to realize that this was all a bad idea. smh

The total loss of smell is the freakiest symptom. The rest is normal, lingering flu. But that loss of smell is very distinct.

For me, that was the first symptom. I didn't even realize it. I just knew that I was pissed all day because my coffee had no taste. I kept making the pots stronger and stronger and still couldn't taste anything.

When my husband came home he began gagging and shouting about, "WHAT IS THAT DAMN SMELL?!!"

I had no idea what he was talking about.

Two days earlier I'd made a huge batch of chicken soup for the freezer. I'd tossed the guts into the trash and forgotten them. They'd turned and were rotting.

Now I'm the 'super sniffer' of the house. For me to have missed THAT smell is a big deal. That's when I connected the flavorless coffee and realized that I had no sense of smell.

About half an hour later the first wave hit. smh

I had covid and I'll tell you now exactly how elders are killed by covid.

It was the flu. A long, lingering flu. I was in quarantine for three straight weeks with flu symptoms.

If anyone has ever had the flu, they know how it initially hits you. You're fine, then all of a sudden you get hit with a wave of dizziness, nausea, HARD chills, and weakness. It's like your BP just hits bottom out of nowhere. That's a rough bit.

With covid, I'd wake up feeling perfectly normal. I'd go about my morning just fine. But sometime between 11AM and 2PM I'd get hit with the wave. And those waves hit hard. My fever would jump up a bit and I'd feel like shit for the rest of the day until I went to bed... then I'd wake up healthy.

My worst moment was on day three. I got blindsided by the wave and instantly puked all over the front of myself. I actually dropped to my knees and dumped my stomach.

After that, I had to clean myself up. I got into the shower and while I was in there a second wave hit. I held onto anything solid I could grasp until the worst of it passed, then finished showering. Then I had to clean up my mess and cuddle up with a blanket for the rest of the day.

Now this is a long, lingering flu, but not the worst flu I've ever had. Trust me, I've been MUCH sicker. But it's still no fun.

Now imagine that you're a 75 year old woman with osteoporosis and you're a bit frail. You go through what I went through and, when you the second waves hits in the shower, you go down.

You break your collar bone or your hip. Or you hit your head.

Now you're laying there helpless. The hot water runs out.

For me, my husband came by every three days to drop off food and supplies on the porch.

Now imagine that you're that 75 year old laying broken and helpless on the bottom of the shower with freezing water soaking you through for three gawddamn days before anyone comes to check on you.

Would she survive that?

Probably not.

Young and healthy people don't die from covid, but still we leave our most frail and helpless abandoned and alone for weeks and weeks. They have to cook and clean for themselves. Get their own electrolyte drinks. Clean up after their own sick. I promise you that when things are at their worst, brain fog is bad. I was actually scared when I had to use the stove to make soup. So many mistakes can happen.

A common cold can be dangerous for an elder. A flu - without care - is deadly for any frail elder under the best of circumstances.

But the flu, without care, is absolutely deadly.

THIS is how we're neglecting people to death.

Covid isn't killing people. WE ARE.

He'll be on OAN within a month and we'll watch him.

He's done it all without a manager or a label. He's independent and made the cash.

Of course he's got a good woman by his side. A woman with business and money smarts who supports him. That helps.

Thanks.

I think. Maybe I was better off not knowing.

Sometimes I hate this world so damn much.

ATTENTION GOVERNMENTS OF TAIWAN AND HONG KONG:

ARM YOUR PEOPLE NOW. PUT MULTIPLE GUNS AND AMMO INTO THE HANDS OF EVERY ABLE-BODIED ADULT IN YOUR COUNTRY NOW. PUMP MILLIONS INTO WEAPONS AND DEFENSE NOW. TRAIN YOUR CITIZENS NOW. START TRAINING YOUR KIDS TO BE SOLDIERS WHILE THEY'RE IN SCHOOL NOW.

You should've been doing these things for the last decade - at least. But don't wait a moment longer. The evil that will surely wash over your nation soon must be resisted at all costs.

When I realized that the fraud was going to be allowed to happen the first thing I did was say a heartfelt prayer for the people of Taiwan and Hong Kong.

All I can do is continue to pray for them and ONLY support politicians who openly support them against the CCP. I will also continue to spread awareness of their plight and the evils of the CCP to everyone I know.

As bad as thing will get for us, we'll suffer nothing compared to what will happen to them.

This is fucking evil and I hate it.

There is a lot of shit like this, unfortunately this isn't such an example.

It's all from the same incident. The kid was pulled from the rubble. She was passed, man-to-man, to safety. I saw the story when it happened at the time. These photos were used to say 'fake news' not long after.

So this is fake, fake news...

Doesn't change the fact that the f'n news absolutely does stage BS, but we've got to keep truth on our side.

It came and went to fast that I completely missed it. What happened?

How about we say that, instead of lightening the load, we choose to carry a different load?

We free ourselves of the heavy chains of manipulation, then pick up the heavy sword that allows ourselves to be effective in this battle.

I am a Jew and I want in on this... so damn much.

I just need a mentor to walk me through it. I realized that the stock market was rigged years ago and gave up any hope of getting in on the action so I quit researching.

SOMEBODY HELP ME. I want to join the fight.
