The media knows they are irrelevant. They ran nonstop negative coverage of Trump for 5 years and not only did he win the Presidency, he GAINED 11 million votes from 2016-2020. This after Clinton Bush and Obama all lost votes between election 1 and 2. So obviously there are a lot of people who pay no attention to the media.

My point is elected Republicans are still doing things based on media perception and optics. They are stupid if they think there is any coming back from this.

Every single Republican needs to be primaried. Every single one.

Uh, does McConnell think we're ever going to vote for someone not endorsed by Trump. Ever. Again?

The GOP either goes full MAGA or they're dead in the water.

DISCLAIMER: Dear Department of Justice observer. Use of the word "dead" Is meant in a figurative sense meaning no long viable to those they claim to represent. In no way am I advocating violence

He could start any business tomorrow and half the US would instantly be a customer.

First and foremost, alternatives to Facebook and Twitter and a competitor to Amazon. If he thinks he got rich in real estate, imagine the possibility here!?

He gave it everything. They've tried to take everything away from him and he just keeps going.

He should be an inspiration to all of us.

The colonies broke from England and seceded from the empire.

The southern states seceded from the union.

Neither were the easy option. Hell we lost 600k men in the Civil war. But despite not being easy, it was the choice that was made.

I'm not suggesting there are not any options. But after the results of the Georgia runoff, voting may not matter. Breaking from the GOP and forming a 3rd party? Sounds great but doesn't do anything if the vote is rigged.

Then there's talk of designating MAGA as domestic terrorism. This would make it almost impossible to gather and organize. And then there's the censorship. Corporations (twitter, ect) are refusing to do business with conservatives based solely on politics.

I'm sure there are options. But what? Honestly, I like to hear. We need positivity.

And if he doesn't? If we have President Biden in 2 weeks?

1
petethedragon 1 point ago +2 / -1

Just curious. What options do you think we have?

The voting system is broken. The Republican party despises its own voters.

2
petethedragon 2 points ago +3 / -1

So what are our options?

The voting process is broken.

The political party we've voted for and supported has no interest in our interests.

Entire corporations are refusing to do business with us based on our political views.

The opposing political party wants to label us as domestic terrorists. Oh, they also control the entire federal government and view the constitution as an outdated piece of paper.

Our options are few. Some will depend on what Trump chooses to do post presidency.

I'm not trying to start a nasty argument but things are not good as I'm sure you are aware. We have few if any options. Maybe this was inevitable. Who knows, even if Trump did get a 2nd term it may just have delayed the inevitable.

I'm curious what moves Trump will make post presidency.

And I'm curious to know what he thinks we as voters should do going forward knowing how broken the election process is.

So to the gulag we go I guess, huh?

There are many military bases in the south. In fact, probably more than up north. Some of them probably have nukes too.

This feeling is going to grow in the coming year.

Mandatory lockdown and masks. Taxes raised, gun control, single payer, stacked Supreme court, increased internet censorship, designation of MAGA as domestic terrorism, replacing Biden with Harris, another endless foreign war.

There will be enough going down in the next year to drive up support for Texas.

Win, lose, or draw he was the best. Sacrificed everything. Fought none stop by himself.

If he gave us nothing else it was hope and clarity.

Either they fear Trump has a last second plan to stay in office or they want to bury him, his family, anyone who worked with him, and all his supporters.

Which is more likely?

I agree with most of your points but I don't think the dems win the popular vote consistently. Not only do we now know they cheat, they cheat in EVERY conceivable way. Mail in, ballot stuffing, voting machines, throwing out opposition votes. You name it.

The future is uncertain to say the least, but the things we suspected about our country a few years ago we know now are true. The uniparty, election rigging, ect.

I'm glad this is the awakening the public needed but fearful the public will be powerless to act upon it.

The election in 2022 and 2024 will be very interesting on the Republican side. It should (depending on the amount of rigging on the Republican side) be a bloodbath for incumbents.

A lot will depend on who Trump backs. Does he form a new party? Work to primary all the rinos? We know there is rigging going on, but MAGA isn't going anywhere so candidates SHOULD become more conservative. Voters eyes are wide open now. If enough MAGA people get in at the local level, independence is certainly possible. We know the dems cheat like crazy and a lot of Republicans do too, but to what degree? After all, Trump won the nomination while the dems were shutting out Bernie.

Otherwise we'll be 2nd class citizens.

This is what will eventually happen.

I think things are going to progress rapidly after the 20th. Obama (in the eyes of the communists) made several critical errors.

  1. He had both houses in 2008-2010 and the only significant legislation he got was Obamacare. He could have dropped the hammer and done all of the things the communists are trying to do now.
  2. He didn't set up election rigging enough. This allowed him to lose the house in 2010 and for Trump to beat whatever algorithms were in place in 2016.
  3. He didn't get social media to censor Trump in the runup to 2016. This was Trump's only way to communicate unfiltered to the world.

None of these mistakes will be made this time. And states that see how dramatically these actions violate our constitution and values will act.

AOC says they need to make a list of Trump supporters. She's the only idiot that says it out loud, but they all think it. So either conservatives become 2nd class citizens or they make their own country.

It won't take long for the true colors of the Harris administration to show.

Hopefully that will bring the others on board.

petethedragon 8 points ago +8 / -0

You're right. They're trying to bury us in every way possible.

Being optimistic, this could be a very good thing in that there is a great opportunity for entrepreneurs to grab the conservative market in any number of industries. Social media and tech is one. A viable alternative to Amazon? Banking? Ect.

And also, if the courts don't rule on the current discrimination against conservatives, it sets a precedent that could be applied by conservative businesses against liberals. This assumes that the rule of law and equal protection still exists though.
