You cannot use logic or truth against the modern left/elites. Power is the only thing that matters. Why do you think they want their hands on every lever of control?? If we were a nation of laws, would they really be that intimidated by Trump or anyone? They understand better than anyone that the powerful MAKE the laws in this country and under our system. The law is whatever the powerful say it is in any given moment.
The left have spend decades deconstructing the idea of truth, from the scientific method to the way we interpret laws. Just watch a Youtube on post-modernism and the left's placement of this mindset into every institution.
There is a form of liberalism that is incredibly appealing and worth keeping around. It's the form that challenged the Bush admin in the 2000s - when many conservatives were being hoodwinked by the Bush family. Sadly this form of liberalism has been overtaken by what you have today, the lunatic fringe (and that is exactly what it is). Candice Owens calls these new "liberals" leftists and I think that's the better term. Traditional liberalism isn't all bad, and has in fact made our society better (calling out gov't spying, check on gov't police powers, some social policies, and created some great art).
This current form of liberalism (which is what I'm sure you are talking about) is a awful.
Something tells me what he's got planned next for media/big tech will dwarf what he was on Twitter. He has a base of 100mil strong that will jump through a brick wall for him. Imagine being able to control that base on his own platform.

Now, they've essentially created a massive gap in the market (a 100 million person market) that Trump/some entrepreneurial people can fill w/ a new platform.

Trump did EVERYTHING he could and was betrayed by his closest allies in his hour of need. We aren't a dictatorship. Trump needed someone w/ the power of office to support him. SCOTUS, his senate colleagues, his VP, his AG ALL flaked on him. Sure, Trump made some missteps down the line, but a lesser man doesn't get anywhere close.

The dude withstood FBI spies, a sham Russia investigation for two years, countless rats, turbulent SCOTUS nomination, an impeachment, a global "pandemic," and cheating on the most massive scale ever. And after all that he STILL almost won - it took Pence being a little bitch at the end to finally stop him.

I believe the overwhelming majority are still ride or die MAGA. I was personally incredibly disheartened by Pence's lack of temerity. Trump has stuck up for everyone in the face of intense pressure. Yet, at a time he needed it most, Pence caved. Just awful.
People are just waiting to see what Trump says. Regardless, I don't believe any of Trump's base will abandon him. He delivered for for them time and time again.
There is an old religious saying that iron shapes iron. I'm not sure what that means in the official orthodoxy, but I always liked to think it mean that men would shape men; that hard times would shape men. That in facing those tough times and hard men, you would in turn be shaped and made stronger.
It's very sad to see Pence falter in the critical moment. He fancies himself a man of religion. But I wonder if he is either a fraud, or if he thinks he's being faithful, what good is his religion if it can't see him through these tough times.
I'm kind of treating this as a last post on this website. It's time to get to work on building on what Trump has started. I truly believe that this is just the beginning. New voices are going to rise up. I guess first we just needed a glimpse of how great things could be if we remain true to our ideals, and of course expose the men who simply can't measure up.

It's adorable that you are still naive to think America is a nation where outcomes are dictated by the law. Our legal system is governed by desired outcome, not the law. This is a shock to the system for many, but when you really understand the difference things become clear.
Over a million in DC, but tens of millions (probably over 100 million) across the nation. We are united. And we won't stand for what happened and what is happening to this country by elites who fancy themselves gods.

It's funny, my family is MAGA except my little brother (liberal but didn't vote Biden), and we all get along fine. The MAGA is such an inclusive movement, and modern liberalism is a blight on the human condition.

It's crazy to me that a generation that grew up watching Star Wars may actually end up becoming actually, quite literally stormtroopers.
