There's a very strong in-group preference for every ethnicity or group, especially among non-whites. You get a Hispanic manager in there then suddenly the entire workforce is Hispanic. I was in Gallup last year in far Western NM. There are a lot of Native Americans in that town and that culture seems to dominate. I was shocked at how many of them were roaming around on foot bumming rides and such. I think Native Americans from the surrounding reservations tend to flock to that town. I imagine most aren't taking precautions.
