thats why theyre imported and not legal migrants. legal migrants actually have to know how the system works and maybe have to actually try to get in. you can just import "refugees" en masse and nobody can say anything to oppose it.

honestly, i pity them for not being capable of understanding what theyre doing. i wish more could be done to actually help them learn how to become better but its like trying to teach calculus to someone that never learned their times tables.

i guess its almost like trying to speak from their terms? winning on their terms means a lot more than winning on your terms because its a lot harder for them to argue. not that they dont argue it anyway.

depends on the topic. if it has nothing to do with sociopolitical history or current events, there's a good chance the information is pretty accurate. it has never steered me in a completely wrong direction when looking for information about scientific/mathematical properties (and i mean the actual low down stuff like the calculus and/or relationships, not the high end stuff most people know something about like solar panels, which half exist in the current event category anyway). i simply use it for the fast answer before i verify it with the more complex ones.

things going back to where humans can live normal lives not giving a shit about the fuckheads trying to kill them

It’s not even just that. The fact that we can’t trust anyone these days even with some good history is horrible. You want to believe in people but they keep slamming the door in your face so you can’t.

who said i would? i said im focused on keeping the party together. if trump ends up not winning to desantis and desantis gets the nomination, having been decided from the country rather than just us, then im going to pick desantis over the dem.

quite frankly im not even looking at who is better yet. like you said, its divisive bullshit. i am more interested in keeping the party together than taking a side. no matter which side actually ends up on the nomination in 24, if the party is divided, retards will not vote for the guy they didnt want winning in the actual race and hand the dem the win. sadly people out there are really that stupid. we need to fix the party and keep it strong. thats how we win in 24, alongside all the other things we need to do.

by helping everyone, everyone is worse off the more people you help, as resources strain more and more.

if you only help some people, you are being discriminatory, even if for a good reason (like no criminals).

therefore, if you help nobody, you are not harming people and not being discriminatory. it isn't to be mean, it's to say that it is not sustainable to help everyone. think of it like an investment. you don't invest in just anyone, you invest in people that look like they will be a worthwhile investment, like an employee.

ah, i see it now, it stops being the free market when it destroys itself. i think thats a good way of explaining it, thank you.

i know that im trying to explain how you can support the free market while not making exceptions for billionaires no matter how obvious it seems

The reparations are living in the first world and they don’t realize it because they keep trying to make it the third world.

I would add the word “blindly” in there. You can separate the good from the bad that way, no matter the ratio. Saying to never trust doctors would include all the ones that put their jobs on the line to actually tell the truth.

I see it more as lazy writing than anything. It can be a set up to the protagonist’s struggles, that they had a bad childhood due to a number of factors. But like anything overuse it and it becomes boring and stale, and you can’t use the woke angle they like to write it from either. It can work as a catalyst to drive the protagonist to move forward and improve, Meet the Robinsons is a great example. The main character is an orphan, and he wants to see his birth mother who abandoned him, but he learns to move forward and make his own family instead. Of course having a healthy home relationship is a good thing as well, but it depends on the plot. Disney/Pixar have made good movies in the past, they just haven’t in at least a decade.

yea, you can be a bit personal as long as its not explicit. anecdotes can greatly help with teaching as well if its a small class because it lets the teacher and students appreciate each other that much more. theres a difference between people bonding and indoctrination.

ah, i see. yea, i guess i just wouldnt encounter a lot of that because i watch mostly relatively popular shonens/action heavy shows, with some extra stuff thrown in like spy x family and kaguya sama. not to mention a fair amount of it is before that era really took off.
