I got her death certificate and the cause of death: comorbidity from pneumonia and heart attack. She was a very healthy and health-conscious person with great health insurance. Does anyone know if Hazard pay is taxable? I researched hazard pay for private businesses and found that those working a minimum pay wage or government job will not get taxed during the COVID crisis. But, those with a college degree or above the minimum wage will get taxed on all the hazard wages incurred during the COVID crisis.
Correct me if I am wrong? If not wrong, then doctors, nurses, UPS workers, and etc. that are deemed "essential" will be taxed this year including hazard pay. I would be happy if the government does and laugh my ass off for the wasted time spent incurring income that will eventually be forfeited to the government. Then all of those videos of them dancing will be the best videos to watch when they do pay their taxes.
