Jefferson didn’t cast aside any electors in 1800. It was a tie, with no one having a majority of electoral votes so it went to the House. The House held 35 ballots and were tied between Jefferson and Burr. Hamilton intervened and convinced Federalists to back Jefferson and lots of people changed to Jefferson or Abstained and Jefferson won. Jefferson didn’t do any ballot picking or choosing in the election of 1800. It WAS controversial though.

Here is the text of the Constitution:
The person having the greatest number of votes for President, shall be the President, if such number be a majority of the whole number of Electors appointed;
Normally, there are 270 electors appointed in modern America. Note that it says Appointed, not approved by the VP. We would assume that means appointed by the states as electors, meaning all 270, but perhaps it could be taken to mean appointed by the VP as a valid vote, in which case it’d be a majority of those the VP counted. So it might depend on constitutional interpretation.
Another thing I found interesting is that if it goes to Congress to pick, then Trump clearly wins the House, but it’s very possible Pence might not win the Senate. It’s be the new congress, so depending on the GA runoffs we may or may not have a majority, plus with never Trumpers like Romney in there, we could wind up with President Trump and VP Kamala Harris, I’m which case they’d just assassinate Trump and she’d take over. I don’t like any of this. 😳

Exactly. Note that in the same tweet he says “Biden admin will be” then the next line says “the Supreme Court needs to do what needs to be done”, which would negate any possible “Biden Admin”. These two things are mutually contradictory.
The only explanation that makes sense is that he MEANT the Obama/Biden administration, or mayyybe the short lived “office of the President-elect”. I strongly believe he meant the former, with all the scandals they’ve been proven to be involved in.
