The investigation that dropped originated from the Horowitz report

Bill Barr said long back in an interview that the Horowitz report was extremely limited in scope which would mean that an investigation originating from it would be too

The limited scope would result in the severity of the crimes being severely understated allowing McCabe to get off with a slap on the wrist for crimes he should hang for

Durham's investigation will directly implicate McCabe for the same crimes while being observably much larger in scope

Double jeopardy laws would apply so it's only natural that the weaker case would get dropped

It doesn't matter how much you want him to, Barr cannot dispute the official story that Epstein killed himself because he's the Attorney General

Trump is the president. He has enough security clearance to know everything Barr is doing and everything he has ever done. If he was deep state then Trump would know and could fire him like he did Jeff Sessions. If he was doing nothing then he could tell all about it on Twitter. Trump even just recently made a show of saying that while he has not given any orders to Barr, that it is within his authority to do so. Consequently there is no legitimate reason to believe Barr isn't doing exactly what Trump wants him to do.

TL;DR: Too bad for the low attention span headline readers who need a tl;dr for everything, but I can't give you a 2 sentence course on double jeopardy, the investigative process, the obligations of the Attorney General, and the President's oversight capabilities. You're just going to have to read the whole thing and do further research on your own to verify like the rest of us have already done.

Some of you may have heard about Bloomberg mentioning that Bernie has 3 houses and Bernie's response to it but that response contained some interesting info

Bernie responded that he has 1 house in washington for work, 1 house where he lives, and downplays the 3rd house by saying "like thousands of other Vermonters I have a summer camp"

Thousands sure sounds like a lot until you realize that Vermont has a population of over 600,000 which means if the number of "thousands of other Vermonters" is 6 or less then Bernie basically just admitted to being in the 1% of Vermonters who have a summer home on top of his 2 other houses

Once again another headline is plastered across the MSM and the dumber half of T_D eat it up like headline reading dumbass redditors of r/politics and cry doom and gloom without reading any further or having a single clue as to how the justice department works.

Regarding the "dropping" of the investigation into McCabe. They've only dropped the investigation arising from Horowitz's 2018 referral. Durham's probe has only been getting bigger but I can already hear what you're going to say

"muh tick tock" "hurr durr trust the plan" "no YOU'RE the concern troll!"

and yet seeing as how the investigation implicated ONLY McCabe it was clearly lacking in scope, would've downplayed his role as part of the larger cabal, letting him off with a slap on the wrist as a result for crimes he should hang for and would give him IMMUNITY to ever actually receiving the sentence he deserves thanks to a little thing called "double jeopardy" all the while keeping the evidence acquired over the course of that investigation locked out of reach of any other investigation until it was concluded.

1. The notion that Trump is blissfully ignorant of what's going on in the DOJ. Are you actually so stupid as to think Trump just picked a replacement for Sessions blindfolded then never bothered to check up on what they're doing?

2. The notion that Trump is being silent despite Barr and Durham being swamp rats as if he wouldn't be tweeting about it daily if that were the case.

3. And dumbest of all, the notion that an Attorney General can speak their mind about politics freely. "Barr says Epstein killed himself so he MUST BE A SWAMP RAT!". Newsflash moron! "Epstein killed himself" is the official story according to all the evidence that wasn't destroyed and for Barr to say in the absence of evidence ANYTHING to the contrary would get the swamp rats to have EVERYTHING thrown out due to "bias". Please shut up about it already, we get it, you have no idea what the responsibilities of the Attorney General are, and you're impatient and angry, now piss off!

Do you actually think nearly 400 violent attacks on Trump supporters number that has been posted on T_D yesterday is a lot? Barr fired the Prison Chief for failing to keep Epstein alive and even still Comey's daughter was still around to delete the security footage and so the investigation into Epstein ended the day before his connections were going to be revealed as part of the investigation.

Do you actually think we can just round them up and hand out indictments that easily? Do you think firing Comey, McCabe, Rosenstein, and a few others was enough? Trump fired Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats back in August, and I'd bet my life that none of the concern trolls and ignorant morons claiming "nothing is happening" even know why that's significant. Do you think that if he's still firing top government officials many of you ignorant morons have never even heard of 2.5 years into his presidency that now, 3 years in, having still not done any research yourself, honestly believe Trump has nobody left to fire?

Do you know why it suddenly came out that there are THREE investigations into Ilhan Omar? Do you think that these 3 investigations just coincidentally started just yesterday at the same time? Or could it be that since each of these departments have different jurisdictions that they started their investigations separately as evidence came in and that they were only just now made public? and yet despite this you act as though somehow you already know that nothing will come of these investigations?

Maybe you might assume the worst if you took the MSM spin on the Horowitz report at face value rather than listen to the Barr interview where he explains the process of creating it and how it's much worse than it sounds.

Maybe you heard that Huber has done nothing in the FISA investigation and think that's reason to assume Barr and Durham are also doing nothing but Barr is the one who said that Huber did nothing and his work was taken over by the team he set up under US Attorney John Durham so why would Barr's claim implicate himself and his appointees?

Maybe you heard that Huber's investigation into the Clinton Foundation ended uneventfully but before anyone official has a chance to comment on why, how, or if that's even true you just blindly trust the media when it could be another case of the investigation passed off to someone like Durham who has more authority to gather evidence and make indictments.

Honestly, do some actual research before flapping your lips with such ignorant nonsense.

I wholly expect Trump to win in 2020 but I can't express enough how much merely winning is not enough. The left relies on lobbying and controlling the narrative through the media to sway public opinion and so even if we win in 2020 they can just undo everything we've worked for in 2024 and the election is by far the best opportunity we have to change the narrative which is why it's not enough to win.

Even if votes are coming in and Trump's winning 100 Million to 100 Thousand with every state solid red you still need to vote because it's not enough to just defeat the left.
