Blah blah blah. Then wait for it to come to your area. You go looking for it across state lines with an illegally possessed loaded firearm that you use to kill two people you can kiss all of your private property goodbye probably forever.

"infantryman" Hmm. You can't spell "infantryman" without . . . . Also, being in the military doesn't make you a man; it makes you in the military.

"He was 20 miles from home." "So what was he supposed to do?" If you try real hard, I bet you can come up with the answer. Also, no amount of private property is worth your life. None.

Oooo. Says another video game addicted larper living out his adolescent fantasies through this event. All of you chest thumpers are larpers. Real men who have done real things don't come on TD and run their mouths about it.

This is a really disgusting side of TD that I've never seen before. He's no hero. He's a larper who carried a loaded weapon from another state into a riot zone. In Wisconsin, his possession of that weapon was illegal because he's underage. He wasn't there for a Monopoly tournament. He used that illegal weapon to kill two people and wound a third. What the hell is wrong with you people in the comments jabbering like bloodthirsty savages over a carcass? Where are the cool heads and the mature objectivity? This is not The Donald that I used to know.

Yup. Which is why I'm willing to get downvoted into oblivion over this. The instant, intense fangirling over this larper is really disturbing.

"Vague generalities" is a phrase used by people who can't sustain a logical argument. Also name calling. Also, you didn't cite any laws. But since you are now: Punk kid was underage for both concealed and open carry in Wisconsin. He used a weapon that he carried in from another state and was illegally in possession of in Wisconsin to kill two people and assault a third. Your fangirling means nothing when it comes to the law.

In Wisconsin, concealed carry reciprocity is for CCW permit holders over 21, and open carry must be over 18. Plus, he killed two people and assaulted a third with that illegal, out of state weapon. I'm thinking he's in big, big trouble.

He larped his way into a life sentence.

"He asked to be chased . . . ." He sure did. As soon as he crossed state lines with a loaded weapon and entered a riot zone, he was asking for trouble. Being 17 years old and most likely addicted to video games, he sure was asking for trouble.

Why would I rethink my position? Just because the majority of commentors are adolescent fangirls like you? Rittenhouse is a punk kid who crossed state lines with a loaded weapon looking for some live action and now he's facing life in prison for murder. He isn't a hero; he's a moron. The fact that so many of you think he's some kind of savior says a lot about your maturity. Why would I ever want to agree with you?

He's no hero. He's a punk kid who larped his way into a life sentence. But you go ahead and enjoy your adolescent fangirling. It won't last much longer.

He wouldn't have been in that situation if he hadn't crossed state lines with a weapon.

It's still a different state. He crossed state lines with a weapon. It doesn't matter how far away points A and B are. He's in big, big trouble.

That comparison is absolutely disgusting. He was a punk kid looking for trouble. Don't you dare compare him to those brave men.

This is one of the biggest weaknesses of TD: you all jump right in with the hero worship before anything has been verified. How many times have people here fangirled over someone only to find out they're not the rock star you thought they were? And now I'm seeing comparisons between Rittenhouse and Sandmann, which, quite frankly, is an insult to Sandmann.

He crossed state lines with a weapon looking for action. Self-defense isn't going to help him. He's is big, big trouble.
