They need something else for people to do here. On reddit, I started using TD after other forums. I think a larger number of people will keep using TD rather than come here because they are already on reddit for more than just political discussions. Most TD users probably aren't on reddit even primarily for political discussions.

That last part about claiming it proves your assertions was truly incredible. They must have just thought the public was so scientifically illiterate and the press so dishonest, that the whole thing would be allowed to pass as some sort of difference of perspective. I never thought taking the test was bad though. As long as you could trust the testers at least. Who knows, she may have gotten lucky and had a great-grandma who played around with an Indian on the side. Then she would have something to crow about.

They have been and continue to be the greatest obstacle to any kind of realistic quarantine. If people can just come across the border, hide out in a sanctuary city, and have left wing public officials undermine efforts to manage this on all levels, sacrificing public health is just one of the many inevitable consequences.

I still think it is a good idea to have a presence on other social media platform, but you need your home base to be someplace where the community can at least expect to be treated the same as other communities, and that sure isn't reddit.

Ebola did seem remote, but with a potential pandemic, a great deal of the worry is that it will infect so many people that it won't be practical to stop it so worry a lot about the infection rate. If something like that popped up in a western nation, the health system is more likely to be able to head it off. Africa is the opposite. It would hit 10 million people, and people would still be trying to fix it with crushed bone from some poor albino. I think I also remember the symptoms being like vomiting, diarrhea, bleeding out. Not a pleasant way to go.

I though Ebola sounded worse and SARS just as bad. Like Ebola seemed to be killing healthier people perhaps?

Doing a good job with the trolls. I don't really see any more impersonation type accounts than I see in TD on reddit.

Importing people is not an effective way to help any of these third world countries. It uses huge amounts of resources to help the smallest fraction of their ballooning populations. If that was the intention of these policies . For the money spent on the welfare of an economic immigrant family, an order of magnitude more people could have been supported in their own country.

They probably would say he is the kind of guy who has a good chance of having a heart attack seeing as how he just had a heart attack. Not like he can lose 50 pounds and keep it from happening again.

I am not sure it is a bad thing for a community to have a presence on multiple platforms, but I do agree reddit is a terrible place for a home base. They are in love with censorship on every level and shameless about applying even their arbitrary rules unevenly. Any success the community has there would just result in some new rule to stop it.

This would be a great thing especially if all of those forums that should be apolitical could actually be apolitical here. It would be somewhat ironic as this has started as a political place, but it would really differentiate from reddit which pollutes every subforum with political crap until they are unusable for intelligent discussion around their original purpose.

Really excellent, but very long. The crux of it being that after the collapse of the Russia collusion narrative, the worst accusations they have attempted to make against POTUS would not be impeachable even if factually proven.

In some ways, this seems self-evident as the whole question is absolutely inconsequential compared to DACA, or pallets of cash to Iran, or the Obamacare mandate all of which have more than questionable legality. It only even relates to a few career politicians instead of 100s of millions of Americans.

In any case, if you are looking for more than the common sense rejection of the cases weakness, this is the full proof of the inadequacy of the allegations.

That would be pretty sweet. If after all of the sermons , hand ringing, and demands for government control of everything as a solution from left wing types, the whole thing gets solved based on a free energy technology produced by military spending.

You probably would have to sue the state separately as the state and federal gov have different powers in the Constitution and this supreme court is notorious for narrow rulings. A ruling against the federal government won't necessarily apply to a state government.

8 year old girls don't typically collect a lot of child porn. These people who feel like they are something they are not always seem particularly bad at behaving as if they are something they are not.

It is about time for that. They need a league for biological woman only and just open men's leagues to anyone whatever they want to call themselves. Women's leagues have been shown to be very beneficial for little girls growing up and destroying them for some PC nonsense to avoid having an honest conversation with a confused person is far from worth it.

This has been my road as well. At first, I felt like they should fight the case they weren't allowed to fight in the house so that between the two they had a fair hearing, but have changed my mind. Any continuing of it just gives it legitimacy. It should be dismissed as quickly as feasible for being completely insufficient as a case as well as illegitimate as an impeachment process.

They shouldn't even report threats to leave. They have no more significance than a child holding its breath. When you have a consequential number of people packing up and getting on planes, maybe then you can put it in a paper or something.

Another quote that helps with the whole vindicate canard:

"We also noted the lack of satisfactory explanations and leave open the possibility that for the reason you indicated its unclear what the motivations were, on the one hand gross incompetence, negligence -- on the other hand intentionality and where in between, we weren't in a position with the evidence we had to make that conclusion."

He states outright that he is not attempting to name a motivation and thus ultimately leaves bias open as a motivation. When the press inevitably lie and say bias wasn't a motivation, there is something concrete to point to saying that the ig report gives no explanation for what their actions are whatsoever.

Elizabeth Warren is the victim of a "Peter Principle" of lies. She has risen to the level where people actually start to verify the things she claims about herself. I know these stories helped her to become a wealthy leading democrat, but I don't think they are working as well at this level.

Not sure exactly what is supposed to be hateful about what he said. You would think it would be a positive for a trans person to actually have an accurate understanding of what threats might exist for help in avoiding them. Walking around in denial is not going to keep you safe anymore than it helps society solve problems.

By exact opposite, I kind of meant it in a mirror image sort of way. Generally just behaving as if an insult of a person or group is good enough to "win" a discussion or make a point, but with the opposite groups that PC generally attacks.

That was how I saw it too. Voat might be a different place if it wasn't seeded from forums like FPH and other similar communities. It kind of set the tone for the whole place. I realize they mostly think they are just doing the whole racial epithet thing as a canary in a coal mine, but being the exact opposite of PC short circuits intelligent discussion every bit as effectively as being PC does.
