Given the abusive nature in which the judge has acted in this case, he's probably worried about his own ass too. Possibly looking for people willing to take up the case and still prosecute it (or rather, continue with sentencing and accept the previous guilty plea, which would be highly irregular).
That's the thing, even though the DOJ dropped the charges and prosecution of the case, it's very much like if someone dropped charges against an abusive spouse; the state can still choose to go after Flynn. That's what these "amicus briefs" are all about. It's about fishing for parties to speak against Flynn, in order to justify sentencing him, or to even have prosecutors volunteer to prosecute the case and add charges. Which is heavily biased, because the Judge wouldn't allow amicus brief's in favor of Flynn.
I doubt that's what will happen though, given the overwhelming evidence that this was a frame job. But the fact that he's taking his sweet ass time shows that he has a vested interest in going after Flynn and is fleshing out his options. Maybe even wants to try to corner Trump into having to pardon him for political points.
But we already know this judge is soo biased against Flynn, that he literally tried to get the prosecutors to upgrade Flynn's initial charges to that of a death penalty offense. He literally wanted Flynn to face capital punishment. He is willing to send a man to his death to toe the Democrat line and cover up this fraud. After all, it's a pretty clean break when you execute the man you framed so that it doesn't come back to bite you in the ass if he appeals and goes free years later.
Guaranteed, big democrat distraction coming in 3...2....
GPS can actually be actively denied selectively. We just don't do that. It can also be actively limited in its accuracy, as the US used to reserve high accuracy for military purposes only.
From GPS.gov:
"Doesn't the government degrade civilian GPS accuracy? No. During the 1990s, GPS employed a feature called Selective Availability that intentionally degraded civilian accuracy on a global basis. In May 2000, at the direction of President Bill Clinton, the U.S. government ended its use of Selective Availability in order to make GPS more responsive to civil and commercial users worldwide. The United States has no intent to ever use Selective Availability again."
See how there's leftist assurances to foreigners in there? "The US has no intent to ever use selective availability again".
The US spends 2 millions dollars a day to operate the global GPS network. And the rest of the world gets it for free. Another gift to China, by Bill "the rapist" Clinton. And that's just the operating costs right now of satellites already in orbit. The costs are far higher once you consider the construction and launch of all those satellites and other infrastructure.
This is also why countries like Russia have been setting up their own limited GPS, because they know if there was ever a war, the US could actively deny them GPS access, which would absolutely ruin their ability to fight back. But they're also expensive to setup and operate, and it's a hard pill to swallow when they're already getting GPS for free.
Nah, she knew everything. Her story was just cover so that she could claim ignorance and sabotage the Trump administration from within. They didn't expect Trump to fire her, and certainly not replace her soo soon.
The problem is that their coup didn't go as planned. They had to constantly shift tactics. So they didn't have their full game plan in action, they were reactive to changing events. Like how they never expected Comey to be outright fired either. Imagine how different things might be if he wasn't fired.
Flynn was "interviewed" by the FBI on Jan 24. Yates was fired on Jan 30. They moved on Flynn fast. You ever see government move that fast? No. Because they had an agenda. Yates was the one behind the whole Flynn deception. She's the one who went to Pence trying to get him to fire Flynn almost immediately after the FBI interviewed him, then when Pence shrugged her off, she leaked all this stuff about Flynn and accused him of being a Russian asset and a blackmail risk. All these events happened in literally less than a week. She wanted to corner the Whitehouse into having no choice but to fire him regardless of the truth, because of the risk.
And the whole point of going after Flynn, was to stop him, as a national security advisor, from blowing the whole Russian collusion hoax wide open early on.
Yates knew Flynn was never an actual Russian asset nor could he have possibly been blackmailed. Think about it...how would they blackmail him? "Mr. Flynn, I am blackmailing you because you shook the hands of some Russians at a public event.....and you failed to recall this. Now do my bidding or else I expose you!". THAT is literally Yates's whole case against Flynn, THAT is why she went to the Whitehouse to try to get him fired. It's preposterously flimsy, and shows a motive on her part.
Even the Whitehouse knew something was up at that point, they just didn't know exactly what, and being the first days of an administration just getting off the ground, they were forced to fire Flynn. Partially because they didn't want scandals, and partially because they didn't know exactly what was going on. And they certainly couldn't ignore it. They were put in a corner by Yates after her leaking, because they couldn't take the risk of being "warned" by an Obama official, doing nothing, then having it turn out she was right. That would have been seen as a scandal too, and a pretty big one, because it'd be ignoring the DOJ and jeopardizing national security. It was crafted to put Trump between a rock and a hard place. It was designed so that firing Flynn appeared to be the safer course of action.
Of course they would attack Trump anyways, as we've seen throughout his presidency, but these were the first days of the administration. No one expected them to go after Trump as much as they have over these past few years, it's unprecedented the level of attacks. Maybe they expected the Bush treatment, but before Trump, even hated incoming Republican presidents weren't treated this badly.
Lots of bad Joe's in the world.
Yeah I don't care about tariff's anymore. Forget this trade war, we're beyond that as a remedy now. What we need is a trade cut off. The whole of China needs to be cut off from the rest of the world; nothing in, nothing out. Including the internet and all other communications. Cut all the lines of telecommunications to China. Make it so they can't even so much as make a landline phone call. Disable GPS from being used over China too. Send them back to the stone age and let them wallow in their own filth and misery. That's how you beat China.
The CCP would collapse within 10 years (maybe within months) and China would come out begging to be allowed to participate in the world again, and would accept any conditions placed on them.
Disgusting the contrast is of how she's being interviewed. Megyn interviewed her like police would interview a criminal.
If there's one thing Zimmerman did, it's that he saved a long stream of people from being Trayvon's victims. If it wasn't Zimmerman that killed him, it would have been someone else eventually, or prison.
And this video is a perfect example of what the media wants you to see VS what the reality actually is. I followed the case closely and super in-depth and even I never saw half the stuff that is in this video, like all the personal texts and friends connections or even the gang tattoo Trayvon's dad got covered up right before the trial. Hell, most of that stuff didn't even end up in the court room, let alone evidence, yet this is exactly the type of stuff that should be shown to a jury. And it also shows that they didn't just accuse him of something, they actively fabricated witnesses.
President can definitely rescind EO's from previous presidents. It's just that you get these activist judges trying to protect their favorites by issuing rulings where they have no authority, in an attempt to slow things down.
I think some of these sources may actually be coming from the PRISM program. It logs and stores everything that is ever transmitted, and some say there is a program even more nefarious, that stores everything every computer has ever stored. It trickles all data from all devices, even when they're off.
For example, on Intel motherboards there is actually a hardware module called the "intel management system", which features a tiny CPU built into them, with its own custom operating system that has full access to all of your hardware, that runs all the time, even when your computer is asleep. It can even run when your computer is unplugged, by drawing power from other connected devices, and can even run from the remaining power left in a computers power supply, which is more than enough to run it for some amount of time.
It only needs a few watts of power, and with that it can do things like access your memory, hard drive, etc. If your computer has an ethernet port connected to a cable modem, that's more than enough power. And it can also run your hard drive in a silent manner. So if you for example have an old style mechanical hard drive, it can actually run that without you even hearing it because it can just run it in an ultra low power state. It won't be full speed, but it's enough to pull data over a period of time.
So really it seems that the reason why we're seeing any of this stuff come out, is because government spying is soo pervasive that the government can't help but collect everything it can, even if it is its own data.
The most outrageous part is that a U.S. ambassador would even have unmasking powers at all. Unmasking had literally nothing to do with her position. She shouldn't have been able to unmask anyone.
Yeah you're wrong on this one. They didn't walk up to him with guns pointed at him, the gun was carried legally in a safe position too. Everything they did was legal. What wasn't legal, was for Ahmaud to charge the guy with the gun and grab for it. What clearly happened was Ahmaud knew he had been spotted trespassing and looking for stuff to steal, was confronted with men with guns, panicked, and did something stupid, which resulted in his own death over something he might have gotten a few days in jail for or a fine.
And when confronting anyone that committed a crime, there is always the possibility they will attack. So there's nothing wrong with being readily armed.
Just look at the reality for a second...he was shot while charging at a guy.....not while running away....not even while just standing there. He charged the guy without any gun ever being pointed at him. Charging someone just because they're armed, especially when open carry is legal, is not self defense. There's no law that says self offense is legal, that's for sure. Them having legally carried weapons does not automatically give Ahmaud a claim to self defense. Otherwise that defeats the whole purpose of the right to bare arms.
No he was just admiring the construction quality ;)
There's another video of him from the inside here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rg8CaecNJI8
He was clearly there looking for tools and equipment to steal. I used to do this type of work and we always had to watch out for thieves looking to steal our tools, even while we were there, because sometimes thieves would try to grab what they could as they walked by. Power drills, saws, ladders, even simple surface levels weren't safe if we didn't keep an eye on them.
He would have came back later that night to take stuff, guaranteed. He was in there for 3 whole minutes. That's a long time to be trespassing in a place you're just having a "harmless" and "curious" look at. He was clearly in there taking inventory of what was there to steal, you can tell by how he was looking around. He didn't walk in looking around all relaxed, he was darting his head and eyes around like he was trying to be stealthy while looking for stuff to steal. His body language says it all.
They're still trying to pretend like this means nothing though, which is absolutely ridiculous. Given all the evidence, both the father and son should be freed immediately, no stupid trial. We already see their justification for confronting the man here, and we already saw their justification for shooting him.....he came at them and grabbed for a shotgun that wasn't even pointed at him. This is literally an open shut case.
He knew he got spotted trespassing, and took it to the next level. He didn't want to go to jail, so he panicked and went for the shotgun, turning what could have been a simple trespassing citation, into his own death.
I would love to see that confirmation hearing. Democrats would be absolutely destroyed. They'll huff and puff and attack him, but in the end all they will accomplish is looking like fools.
But my guess is after all this mess and at his age, he probably just wants to retire.
One person at a time. Flynn is a far better candidate for exposing everything. Stone is just a guy who was talking a lot. Flynn was a general and national security advisor who was ambushed in the Whitehouse. We may very well see Stone's charges dropped too at the end of this, or a pardon if need be.
Let's keep in mind that Flynn was to be charged with violating the hatch act, even though he was literally the national security advisor of an incoming administration. He was gone after for things EVERY incoming administration does. They tried to delegitimize Trump's presidency by trying to criminalize typical things incoming administrations do.
Stones case would reveal corruption, but not to the degree that Flynn's case does. Stones case is an attack on a private citizen. Flynn's case is an attack on the government itself, a coup, a cover up to try to knock out Flynn to keep him from finding out all the dirty stuff they were doing before the election. They literally subverted national security by going after Flynn the way they did.
Justice for Flynn means justice for Stone.
They're already too late. If they try to switch out Biden now, they'll lose anyways. And switching him out after treating him like the next messiah, after Bernie screwing his supporters again, after all the other people dropped out in disgrace pretty early on, it just won't be pretty whenever they try to replace Biden, regardless of who it is. People are already suffering from election fatigue because Democrats already started campaigning in the middle of Trump's first term, far too early, with a circus of far too many candidates.
Exactly. They might have been committing an unnecessary harassment at first, but that all goes out the window once he goes for a gun that WASN'T EVEN POINTED AT HIM! And I sure as hell wouldn't keep running toward the vehicle, or I'd just jog on by if I was jogging and say "Hey I'm just jogging" and go about my business. Never in a million years would I run up on them, run around their vehicle, then go for their gun. Which makes it seem all the more credible that these guys actually had good cause to confront him.
The moment he went for the gun, he made what could have been harassment, into self defense for the guys in the truck.
His answer shows his contempt for the ridiculousness of the loaded question. What it seems the questioner was fishing for was to get him on record saying someone was "close" to Trump so they could then use that person as an in for more phony baseless investigations.
Funny how Obama never opened an investigation into how the dossier got to the media, especially since Clapper and others were well aware of the dossier at that point. You'd think any reasonable government would be wondering how documents PAID FOR BY THE FBI got into the media.
Oh wait, it's because they deliberately leaked it to the media so they could use circular reporting to open phony investigations, silly me! It's just these little facts of their actions or lack thereof, that show the truth.
*Killed in self defense after he grabbed for a shotgun.
She's also the same person that inadvertently admitted that Obama was on a round the clock paper shredding campaign after Trump won to cover up his involvement in the whole hoax.
Notice how Yates conveniently forgets Comey's conversation with Obama. And let's not forget that Yates was the one at the DOJ who started the whole Flynn setup. She was the one who went to the Whitehouse and talked to Pence about Flynn, trying to get Pence to fire him, and when it became clear that Pence wasn't falling for her BS, she then leaked to the media that Flynn could be blackmailed by Russia for his supposed lie to Pence, even though it was impossible to blackmail Flynn, because all Flynn would have ever had to do was go to Pence and say "Oh yeah and I guess I met with some Russian officials at a very public event". Boom, blackmail averted.
That's literally what this was all about. It's about Flynn happening to be at a public event and greeted by Russians he didn't even remember, and since he didn't remember, he got prosecuted. And Yates tried to make that out like Flynn could be blackmailed over it, all in an attempt to get him fired and to keep investigating the incoming administration, all ultimately aimed toward faking false reasons to impeach, i.e. the "insurance policy".
Most of this is worded like an attack on Trump.
Does this "release" have the documents Schiff is blocking in it? Because those are the ones that matter the most. Seems more like this "release" was orchestrated by Schiff as a misdirection, and an excuse for him to further attack Trump over things that have already been settled by Trump's exoneration in the Russia probe and the impeachment ruling exonerating Trump.
Barr could have easily put this on Trump's shoulders and said "You can always just pardon him". So Barr is putting himself in the spotlight and hot seat by having the charges dropped. Barr also did this knowing full well that Flynn could sue the hell out of the government, for tens of millions of dollars, which could again put him in the hot seat if he "got this wrong", but costing the government all of that time and money.
What the dropped charges mean, is that Barr is getting his ducks in a row for prosecution of people. Because you can't exactly do that while people you may prosecute, still have a pending "unresolved" case that they can call to in their own defense to muddle things.
I.e. they can't say stuff like "how could I have done anything wrong when the case is still pending against Flynn!?". With the case settled once and for all, and the precedent of the charges being outright dropped, that sets the stage for prosecution to go after the wrong doing that started the case to begin with.
Flynn is the best candidate for starting justice, because of his long government career. They pulled the same crap with people like Roger Stone, but Stone doesn't have the level of prominence as a career military officer who was setup and framed and maliciously prosecuted. So they REALLY messed up when they went after Flynn (but they were desperate to stop Trump), soo much so that they had to fake more investigations just to try to retroactively justify it, which made them do things and exposed holes and methods in their actions that made his innocence all the more clear.
I think the problem is that Democrats have taken over soo many institutions, that it would be virtually impossible to find anyone to replace him. People either don't have the elevated status, or don't want the trouble that comes with being attacked.
