Dominion software has it's origins in the software by Smartmatic where it was first used in a Venezuela's referendum against Chavez. Forensics came to the conclusion of altered numbers after checking IP traffic. These machines should only update their data to a hub totaling official electoral location but not receive data which is what happened. Local machines sent their totals first to a government control office where numbers were changed and new numbers were downloaded to local machines and then these machines would send the totals ( altered ) to the official electoral office and boom, Chavez was ok.
