Does anyone have any other intellectuals that you recommend reading or listening to? Any books or videos on anything you consider important (even if it's something like first aid). I feel like some of us just happen to come across the work of these people by chance, and I worry that there is so much that I'm missing out on. When I read books by people like Sowell, I realize that I have a lot left to learn and I don't even know where to start on most of it.
Thanks for putting this together! Hopefully this post gets some traction.
Don't take his insults too seriously. Anaconda might be an old pede. People on the old Dom used to be a lot edgier back during the primaries. He's just bustin' your balls because he doesn't like Tucker. Which is fair enough; I get why people would be hesitant to trust anyone on mainstream media.
Goodwill is awesome for finding both of those. There's actually a wide variety of things you can find depending on the city it's in. If you go to one in a really upscale area, you can sometimes find really expensive stuff for super cheap, so you might be able to find a nice blu-ray player for a decent price.
At least the crazy homeless guy has thoughts of his own.
Where should one look to find more accurate history? Do you have any authors or books that you would suggest to someone who wants to look into this more?
Thanks! I do like bell peppers so maybe I'll try to figure something out once I become a bit more experienced. I'll let you know if I ever happen upon the secret.
Thank you so much! This will definitely help me get started. If you don't mind, there's one more thing I wasn't sure about. I have a good deal of clay in my yard. Do you think it would be better to get some soil from a shop and put it in a planter box or should I just plant the seedlings in the most fertile area of my yard? Thanks again for all the help!
I've been thinking of getting into gardening recently. Any books or tips you would suggest for a fellow Georgian?
Despite what a lot of people on here might say, I think really listening and respecting your kids' opinions/emotions is really helpful in getting them to stay honest with you. You don't have to agree with them and they should still listen and respect your rules, but I think a lot of the problems that these people develop come from feeling alienated. They are often mocked by peers and misunderstood by parents so they flock to similar minded people.
The only problem with that is these kids usually have some underlying mental illness (like depression, anxiety, gender dysphoria) that this new group tells them to accept as a part of themselves rather than find a way to get better. This mental illness naturally spirals out of control since it's not being treated. I'm not saying that you're kids will have these problems, this is just the common thread I see amongst these people.
So, basically, I'd say to try to keep an open dialog with your kids about their feelings and problems and try not to treat them as if they're trivial things even if you know otherwise (things like school drama and whatnot). And maybe keep a good therapist in mind in case you see one of your children struggling with something you're not sure how to confront. That's just two cents from some idiot on the internet though, so feel free to ignore :)
Wtf, squirrels have a better understanding of physics than these idiots. People are pulling a large stone object towards themselves in the hopes that they will tip it over. Why would you stand directly in front of it?
I get ya pede, and I agree. It's just if the governors don't intervene and GEOTUS doesn't intervene, the only other option would be for us to get out there which would cause more chaos. To be honest, rather than a win-win for us, it's more of a lose- lose for dems.
The funny thing is that I thought we all agreed that the riots were a win-win situation for us. The cops let them burn everything down: Democrat cities suffer and people get red-pilled. The cops arrest rioters: the rioters end up in jail. Why would we intervene?
Not that I think pot was the killer, but smoking could have exasperated a respiratory virus like WuFlu.
DO NOT HIDE IN THE LIBRARY! Mindless, authoritarian drones have a long history of book burning!
I'm trying to figure out if this is stupidity or complete and utter narcissism by trying to be a part of the current "in-croud." It's funny how the people who claim moral superiority are the same ones using George's death to feel better about themselves and be one of the cool kids.
It would be easier to list the based ones:
-James Woods -Donald Trump
This seems plausible. My parents were freaking out about the bad poll numbers after Trump's tweet the other day, and I had to remind them about how msm used the polls last election. Tbh, I could believe that Hillary was a real competitor in 2016, but no one can convince me Joe actually has any support. No one is even talking about him during all this chaos. No one takes him seriously.
He might be implying that they are being paid to protest. It has happened before so I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case here.
"What difference, at this point, does it make?"
Now do it with Whitmer beating the old man. It's basically her fault it happened anyway.
I don't keep up with Q, but it sounds a lot like how people justify the vague predictions of a psychic.
If dancing isn't the most important presidential duty, I don't know what is
Whoops, sorry I must have misinterpreted your comment as being about the study mentioned earlier in the thread instead of the hypothetical one in the comment you replied to. Now I see why mine sounds weird lol
Seriously, if anyone here is ever around a horse, make sure you give them plenty of distance while walking to their sides or behind them. Keep an eye on their body language and don't make any sudden movements that might scare them. I was feeding mine once and lifted her feed bag a little faster than usual. She spun around like a top but, thankfully, didn't kick me. Some can spook at the smallest things.
