To prevent him from ever holding office again, he won't be able to run in 2024 (or ever). A goal that is likely shared by a lot of RINOs.
No, they pretend to be stupid so they can justify their stupid and excessive reaction. "That's what I believe, so the only conclusion I can come to is that we have to ..."
They would have nowhere to go if they were to admit that there is nothing. "Well, I believe that there is no crime, but I want to punish anyway, so ..." is completely illogical and impossible to argue. So rather make up an alternate reality, pretend to believe in it, then act on these "beliefs" to achieve your goal.
WE ARE WINNING! YAY!
Yeah, they all folded like frightened kids. Alex "1776 WILL COMMENCE AGAIN" Jones, Lin "PENCE IS A TRAITOR, GET THE FIRING SQUADS READY!" Wood, and as soon as some people walk into the Capitol to stroll through the corridors, it's "NO, WE WOULD NEVER CONDONE THAT, IT WAS ANTIFA, FALSE FLAG, CRISIS ACTORS". It's all show. They're all showmen.
There is no working together with the left. They come for your rights, "working together" for them is you giving up these rights as demanded.
But let's not forget, Trump has to say stuff like this. Dunno if it plays out for him (personally I think Dems and RINOs will end up destroying him anyway, no matter what he says or does or what kind of agreements he made with them), but it has to be expected. Any politician who would say "yeah, storming government buildings is a-okay" would be done.
With what army? The people rose up, threw off the chains, stormed the Capitol - meaning two or three dozen people stolling through the corridors and making prank calls from Pelosi's office. There's your revolution. There's your warfare.
Sometimes I think the left's propaganda of Trump being "literally Hitler" got to his supporters as well. Personally, I think he is way too nice and too weak to do what some people want him to do. He cares for his family, maybe he wants a second chance on the presidency and making deals right now (though I wouldn't trust neither Dems nor RINO GOP to actually uphold their part of the bargain). Like so many people on the 6th found out, it's one thing to talk big and daydream, it's a whole other story to actually find yourself in a situation to put your money where your mouth is. Tons of people fold.
I think it takes more courage to face a rather bleak outlook realistically than engaging in extremely unrealistic daydreams.
What if Trump says we should give up our guns and never engage in "hate speech" (read: criticism of the left) anymore, and a one-world government under UN leadership is the best course forward?
We should've started organizing weeks ago, if not years ago. Honestly, what can Trump even do? He can't fix everything that is wrong with our society nowadays. He can give some cover fire, yeah, but it's actually our job, the people, to stand up against our fellow citizens who are turning our civilization into a kind of dystopian satire. The politicians they elect are just symptoms of a deeper problem which has its root in the education and media institutions.
Imagine how many people would have honestly voted for Biden without five years of nonstop "orange man bad" coverage, how many people would support Democrats without "socialism is good, communism is good, white people are racist, non-whites are oppressed" narratives. No amount of fraud could make up for that.
They have successfully indoctrinated large parts of the population from early childhood on, and we need to put a stop to this. Look at racist CTR "trainings" - Trump can stop them, but only in connection with federal institutions. All the rest, the private companies, schools, that's our job. We need to go out and protest and lobby and organize to put up resistance against the leftist subversion.
Well, maybe more people wake up after the 20th when they can't rely on Trump anymore to somehow fix everything.
And today Pence told Nancy and her 25th to eff off.
I heard nobody knows any amount, only that it was settled out of court under an NDA. So in the worst case, he got him a hundred bucks and a coupon for a Happy Meal. Or in the best case, indeed millions. Even in the latter case, I still think Wood is a lunatic. Maybe the Sandman case was such a clear open-shut case that literally a monkey could've gotten a lucrative settlement out of it. Who knows. It's all speculation on my side.
It's not as if there are many choices. Gotta make work with what you got.
No, it really doesn't sound good. It sound horrible and suicidal. But maybe necessary.
You're preaching to the choir, but to the left's one - they are livid that the Asians don't share their black fetish, not understanding that it's being pushed in the US in order to destroy national identity (or do YOU want to identify as a slave owner, abuser, oppressor, murderer?)
So they would say the exact same as you are doing, demanding "diversity" for Asia. Instead we should strive for historical accuracy. Back in the day, some ethnic roles were cast with whites, sure - it was a predominantly white society, and it would have been hard to find and cast "original" actors. Not that hard anymore in times of global travel and a broader range of diverse actors. But re-casting, either whitewashing or blackwashing, shouldn't be the case.
By the way, I wonder how the black fetish is regarded by the latino community in the US - they are a much larger portion of the population than the stagnant 13% black population, but they are not pushed on the audience as hard. Of course the reason is in my first paragraph, but still, must be a bit infuriating for them.
Of a second Trump term. They either go full commie to satisfy their hyper-progressive part, which will alienate voters, or they will self-destruct with infighting. Both scenarios would pave the way for a Trump 2nd term. They don't want that, and the GOP doesn't want that either.
It's bullshit to assume there will be a second Trump term at this point. Wishful thinking. What's going on right now is
a) blackmail to keep Trump from pardoning certain people and declassifying documents - we will impeach you, taint your legacy and keep you from ever running again, so you better keep your feet still
b) a rush to impeach him as long as they control the narrative about the Capitol incident in order to keep him from ever running again.
It's either one of those, or even both (faking a deal but impeaching anyway), and you can probably add some more sinister threats involving the alphabet agencies. But in both cases, there are a ton of GOP figures having a substantial common interest with the Dems to get rid of Trump for good.
I'm not even sure they give a shit about the party at this point. They might have already resigned to eternal Dem rule - as long as there's a fat Chinese check in it for themselves, who cares. They were Republicans IN NAME ONLY anyway, so they don't care if they destroy the party and even don't get elected anymore. Most of them are in retirement age anyway. They might feel ready to take up some comfy chair on some private board of a globalist company or bank.
By that logic, they can't lose anyway. Either you submit and they win, or you fight back and they win. MAYBE, in the latter case, though of course it's a long shot. But if you're already damned to lose anyway, might as well take a few of them down with you - That's the conclusion many will come to, I guess.
Does it even matter anymore, anyway? Look at the plumbers and housewives who strolled through the Capitol and made prank calls from Pelosi's office. They get treated as actual terrorists and "insurrectionists", they get treated as if they literally tried to lynch half of Congress. So what exactly is the incentive to NOT try to do that in earnest? They will brand you terrorist and insurrectionist ANYWAY and they will take your guns ANYWAY and they will destroy your life ANYWAY. There is literally nobody stopping them, they control the press, they control the internet, so they control the mainstream narrative.
They do not need excuses, they do not need an actual legit occasion. It's nice for them if they have it, but they will implement their tyranny ANYWAY.
Came to say this. Testing the waters, identifying targets for defunding (by putting pressure on sponsors to stop financing "undemocratic" politicians, and the big corporations are all globalist anyway), and financing either Dems or RINO moles who will go along. The only ones who will put a stop to this madness is us.
Nobody cares. SCOTUS does as it is told or it gets flooded with leftist judges and THEN does as it is told.
For a war to happen, there need to be two sides fighting. So far, it's only one side attacking and the other side apologizing. I think that's what he meant, the right side will not go to war, not when the country is getting destroyed legally and orderly.
No, they want to take over the US peacefully and completely. Why would they risk that "the wrong side" wins and they lose their influence for decades to come, or end up with just a half-destroyed part of the US? Nah, they just want us to sit down, shut up and take it.
Who cares? This is like a war, and even if your commanding officer is dead or missing, you fucking fight on the best you can, you don't throw away your gun and go home. The real fight begins on the 20th, and people are already giving up preemtively instead of fighting back twice as hard as before. You don't need Trump for a rally or a protest. We don't even want Trump just because he is Trump, we want him because he fights for the same things we want. It's these common goals that made him the leader of our movement, not because he was a successful real estate mogul or a TV personality or whatever defined Trump before he went into politics. Nobody would've cared about his campaign if he didn't share our values. It's these values we need to fight for now. Trump did it for four years, and he risked and lost a lot, we might never realize how much (though the left will gladly report it in depth if they manage to destroy him and drive him bankrupt). Now he's gone, bummer, but the fight goes on. As said, this is only meaning we have to fight twice as hard now.
I posted this before: it's time for the movement to pivot. From supporting Trump and fighting the 2020 election fraud to fighting for our values: defending free speech, defending the second amendment, fighting racist bullshit like mandatory CTR training, fighting the indoctrination of our little children in schools, fighting the mainstream media bias etc. Concentrate on why we wanted Trump to win, and what we hoped he would do for us. Now we gotta do it on our own. We cannot fail to rise to the occasion.
If you don't want to vote from the rooftops, there is no other way. Forcing them to cheat is still a thousand times better than allowing them to win fairly and legally because you were too depressed to make your cross on a piece of paper.
The lesson they want to teach is what exactly? Next time you're pissed off enough to surround the Capitol, you might as well just not only storm it, but make AOC's claim a reality? Because if you get punished like a terrorist for such protests, you might just as well engage in real terrorism.
And though I'd usually assume that this is what they want, I'm not sure they really want to be the target - they are following their usual behavior, but don't seem to realize that it won't be a mall that gets shot up, or some random protesters in a brawl like in Kenosha. The next time the Capitol happens again, these people will not politely stop and take selfies with the cops. Then the day of the rope will commence in earnest. And the tyrants will have nobody to blame but themselves, because as the saying goes: "Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable."
If you accept and adhere to the left's narrative, yeah.
