[TL;DR - MAGA DOESN'T REALIZE THE GAME HAS CHANGED, BUT IS TOTALLY WINNABLE] 2016 was unexpected. Trump ran the table. Media was dishonest, but overplayed their hand and became hysterical. They lost big.

In 2020 the world changed in a big way.

Trump literally did not run against Biden. I am not taking liberties when I say that. Biden mumbled gibberish to small crowds and looked lost the whole time. Even with the vicious media all year it wasn't enough, Trump grew his base.

It sounds crazy to say this, but this whole time Trump's election was determined fully on the medias ability to retain any credibility by the end.

Trump never needed to win an argument, pitch a better policy or anything. He SIMPLY had to do a few things:

1. Give them no ammo to back their crazy claims (i.e. don't ever look defensive or rattled in the public eye)
2. Be completely contrary to their claims..cool calm collected confident, connect with the people, tell a better story.
3. Be totally boring and uncontroversial

You might be thinking, boy the media machine is so powerful and corrupt.

YOUR WRONG. They almost lost again. This thing is like held together with string and duct tape.

2020 ALL BOILED DOWN TO THIS: Can we say "Biden Won" and make it thru till Inauguration without losing ALL of our credibility?

Trump fell for every trap in 2020, the 2016 Trump who resisted the radical media did the same thing again, and gave them all the clips (defensive, contentious, etc.) they needed to lend their crazy narrative JUST ENOUGH JUICE to not completely collapse.

But even with all of this, their strategy started to fall apart. Laptop was enough to make "Biden Won" pretty crazy. SUPPRESSED. Ok they got past that one.

Then the polls came out, most Americans think something was wrong with the election. They pulled out all the stops, more suppression. Luckily the initial lawsuits were bad enough that's all they needed to keep their story alive. WHEW!

Then Jan 6th happened. This was MORE THAN ENOUGH to not only ensure Trump is finished but also to now target the entire movement.

The brings us to today. Yes, the media narrative is totally ridiculous, half the country is terrorists. and YES WE ARE STILL LOSING.

PEOPLE ARE STILL NOT AWAKE THAT WE ARE PLAYING A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT GAME.

The talking heads can't fix it. The viral twitter threads can't fix it.

ITS NOT AN ARGUEMENT TO WIN, ITS A STORY TO TELL

ITS A STORY FOR THE MIDDLE, WHERE CONSENSUS SWINGS.

The left gets all their power by simply not completely collapsing in the middle.

See here's the truth, WE STILL HAVE THE HIGH GROUND. WE HAVE A BETTER STORY TO TELL. WE HAVE A MUCH MORE BROADLY EMBRACED PLATFORM. BUT WE HAVE TO TELL THE STORY.

It's a media battle, not one of facts and charts, those are all props. It's in our laughter and tears that the walls come down and we stop arguing and start listening.

MAGA PLEASE WAKE UP, YOU ARE DEHUMANIZED BY THE MEDIA. NOBODY IS TELLING YOUR STORY. YOU ARE LOSING A BATTLE YOU EASILY CAN WIN.

MAGA YOU WILL WIN IF YOU:

• produce high quality creative media
• make people cry like a bitch cause humanity is beautiful and you are beautiful
• make people laugh cause life is full of joy
• stop focusing on the echo chamber this entire thing hinges in the middle, occupy neutral territory
• diffuse and deescalate, you never win because of arguments you win by being awesome amazing Americans
• give people a reason to hope again
• Do awesome stuff in your communities, don't just do a photo op, start a movement. help people, gather groups, be excellent to one another. people will follow.
• Be brave and unpredictable, find ways to reach BLM and other groups, bring good vibes, remember this isn't about winning arguments (america first is exponentially better platform for them)

You have to understand, most of this country embraces you and many are ready to with little effort.

MAGA IF YOU DO THIS, IT ALL FALLS APART FOR THEM. WHEN MAGA PUTS OUR GREAT VIBES FOR THE WORLD TO SEE, IT BECOME CLEAR WHO THE REAL ENEMY IS!

Big problems with MEME STONKS:

• There's no solution being presented. No platform, no dialogue, nothing.
• Narrative is "drain the corrupt evil hedgies", class warfare...trademark left.
• It's aimless and unsustainable

ONLY POSSIBLE OUTCOMES AS IT STANDS:

1. Dems capitulate to Wall Street, granting special powers to further entrench corpratists who monopolize whole sectors of our economy and now have even more power over finances
2. Dems capitulate to their power hungry base, enact further regulation and taxes. Awesome now dems have more control over finance, nothing will go wrong there right!
3. Hedgies retaliate. They far smarter and have more resources than you. With impending economic crisis we will also have then screwing with things and WE ALL GET HURT THE MOST.

Sad result left in the wake of the wonderful populist movement is that without POTUS the fractured base is wholly ineffectual and imploding on itself.

The right doesn't understand media and it causes us to keep losing.

Lame, pathetic orgs funded to the gills banked on Fox segments to get their message out. Mostly bad talking points, only speaks to the bubble.

The true battle is in sentiment, opinion, culture. That spicy Tucker segment just pumps the tires of the people already on board.

But sometimes we need to laugh and cry to be able to see again. Once you see, the bad narratives lose their grasp. Someone told you a better story.

It's doom and gloom, fear, total garbage rhetoric that rots your brain. It keeps winning cause no one is telling a better story.

Not an argument to win, a heart to be won. For the soul of this great country.

• Play their game better. Occupy previously taboo spaces, GOP is gone now. BLM+MAGA why not? we are becoming the most persecuted group in the us. entire basis for left is victimhood, play it smart, tell a better story.

• Play hardball with big corporations who virtue flex by political persecution. need powerful coalitions, watchdogs, with big reach and big impact, force them to make statements. if a corp wants to give the finger to half of america, make it loud and costly for them.

• De-Federalization. The republic solves most problems right and left. the fear of orange man or congress party lines shouldn't be an existential crisis, need to leverage states. Reps closer to the people, have more to lose. federal policy is openly awful. help people see how much they rip them off. when local libs policies fail, populists will have better solutions.

• Reinvent State/Local Politics. COVID showed us states can quickly do data analytics. Imagine a dashboard, easy to access easy to understand, has all relevant metrics, officials have to set goals and perform. Good KPIs, no funny numbers, independently verifiable. All residents get a report around election cycle.

• Pay for Solutions. Grants/Programs to shrink public programs by offering free market alternatives. America gets wealthy while solving it's own problems.

• Redefining Monopoly. We've been asleep on siloed industries, "collections of monopolies", and it's killing the market. Segmenting industries that are choking the market and hold unfair advantages is important.

• Big investments into the market and the people, covid just wrecked us, bold platforms, huge tax cuts, throw pork in peoples faces and leverage bad spending for funding.

• Big Tech. no one has a comprehensive plan to deal with the tech problem, someone needs to do the dirty work to get us a good platform.

(EDIT: to be fair, it's not her job to do the dirty work nor would I expect her to. We really need a statement that sets the record straight and counters this media gas lighting. this statement just feeds too much into bad media narratives for my taste, something I squarely put on Trumps COMMS team and not Melania)

What we're told is they do some checks and balances here. CUOMO and his Milwaukee correspondent seriously fried at this point, start to have a strange back and forth. His Correspondent is in a room with what I believe to be pre-reported vote tallys on screen, he is watching the votes get added, checked/vetted in real time. DIGITALLY VIA THUMB DRIVES. I believe this is a county wide data reporting location.

Correspondant starts talking about "vote numbers spiking rapidly" then being "adjusted down to where they need to be". Back and forth around this very strange, cuomo repeating "no incidents right" etc. I believe they have this conversion multiple times around the time this dump is dropped, worth going thru all their discussions around milwaukee drop.

I also recall CNN replaying that segment twice for some reason, I think the guys needed a break so when returned from commercial they played the last segment again. at least thats what I remember.
