They are, in significantly higher numbers, to the flu than the current virus. No drastic action is being taken. It should be noted the flu also even has a vaccine and it still causes significantly more damage than the Coronavirus. Most importantly the flu is persistent so it's a continuous threat.

China is a country with supreme government control. Italy denies healthcare to patients if they deem it's not worth it.
Also both countries are not "toast" by any stretch of the imagination. Worldwide infection is still at very low rates; infections in both China and Italy are still low rates. China is on a recovering path [assumingly, with China you can't be sure what is ever going on; government controls the media there.] For those not specifically susceptible to the disease have a recovery rate that is increasing.
No remotely similar action was taken for Swine Flu. Even with that it would have blended in unnoticeable with the common flu. I'm not saying you should want to catch it but it's not worth shutting the world down for. There is something more going on. Statistically it does not add up. + when has governments cared about the public's health in such a way? For countless years governments haven't done anything to truly combat the flu [which is persistent] - such as in NBA, players who go play games while infected and potentially infecting others are praised as brave and inspiring.
Everyone needs perspective to understand the severity of the overreaction in relation to historical standards.
Seriously if this isn't just a ploy to get people off the streets to save innocent people from the riots that result from incoming indictments I will be very annoyed at the stupidity of humans.
People in Italy are dying because they can't be treated. The majority already have existing conditions that aren't being treated because they don't qualify for treatment then they get another disease on top of it.
Countries with wider private healthcare options do not have this massive issue. It's not just by chance Italy has a huge problem. It's destructive leftist policies at work. Germany, UK, most of Europe is having problems due to their obviously moronic policies. This is all the proof needed that globalism is not in the interests of the people.
It should be noted if you keep it in perspective the China Virus STILL has not made an impact that would be noticeable if you weren't told about it. If nobody knew about it, globally, it would just be viewed as a higher than average flu season but not even remotely the worse.
As I said the panic virus is the most threatening. Look at members of congress in the US they aren't taking it seriously. They're just using it to further their agendas. Often times it's exploited by just the left, but this is a rare circumstance where both sides are doing it.
The left is doing it to attempt to destroy the economy and implement more government programs and dependency to increase their voter base. As well as implement gun control and reduce abortion restrictions and increase abortion accessibility as is currently being attempted.
The right is doing it to strengthen the argument for border security and explain why globalism doesn't work.
It's the little details that makes this. If you see it you know what I mean.
Just take a minute and actually think about this...they are punishing people not for saying anything or not even necessarily agreeing with it but just saying that they found the content interesting for whatever reason.
